Nice idea but poorly made for the price. Cheap metal box with a dent on one side. Very light weight and can’t comprehend how, even filled with soil for flowers, will hold an umbrella steady. Going to try to make it work but I’m not too hopeful at this moment. The welding was a very shoddy job as well. I expected better quality.

Overall pleased

Love the stand, filled with pieces of concrete then filled with decorative stone. My only negative comment was the tightening knobs do not stay tight, as a result my umbrella blew out of the stand and broke. I have an alternative method to adhere the umbrella but disappointed that happened.

Practical and Decorative

if i could give 10 stars as a rating, I would. This planter/umbrella stand was easy to assemble, accepted our 9 foot umbrella easily, provided excellent stability even with 30- 40 mph winds that lasted all day. I'm looking forward to planting a small garden in the planter base. I highly recommend this product, you will not be disappointed.

I bought this to hold an outdoor umbrella, however, like other reviews mentioned the pre drilled holes for bolt did not line up so we could not assemble it. Had to return unfortunately.

This entire thing rusted in one season, every metal component rusted almost immediately, left rust stains on my deck. This cannot be left outside, which completely obviates the purpose. Great design, horrible cheap materials.

Great planter, withstood one season already

This planter/umbrella holder is very sturdy and standard umbrellas (from Walmart too) will work. It’s heavy, has wheels to enable moving around the yard, and has withstood one wet spring for us already with new sign of wear. Awesome product and value
