Nambe bowl

Beautiful bowl purchased as a wedding gift. Hubby and I received one 30 years ago, and it's still one of our "go to" bowls for every day and special occasions. It's not nearly as pristine as it was all those years ago, but then neither are we!

Bowl wrong sizing

I purchased this bowl thinking it would be the same size as the one I purchased a couple of years ago but sadly it was not I would describe it as small I phoned in several times left messsages for you to contact me but nothing from you

Super Quality!

This is the third Butterfly Bowl from Nambe that I have purchased. They are rock solid and about a 1/4" thick walled. Very nice quality/not cheap junk. Guests can tell you paid a pretty penny for them but they are well worth the cost.

Great Bowl!

I sent this Nambe bowl to lifelong friends for their new home in Southern California as a housewarming gift. I have had this bowl in our home for years and it is great. I also know that my friends will enjoy it just as much.

This bowl is beautiful and a bit asymmetrical, so unique. I had it engraved for my Nephew's wedding gift. I have had Nambe bowls and platters for 25 years and I let them scratch up, so they look sort of like a pewter. They still look beautiful. I use them for everything and almost everyday, for hot food and salads. They never break:)

Arrived severely scratched

Bowl arrived severely scratched and because it was a no return item I was left keeping it. Very small bowl for the price.

It’s very beautiful and shiny however I have to return it since it was too small for what I intended for use. I ended up buying the larger size.

Stunning Bowl

I had some other Nambe Bowls that I got as wedding gifts. I wanted to add to the collection. I'm glad I did. This is by far the most beautiful of the bunch. I love it. It's the perfect shape and shininess.

These are great bowls and very multi-purpose. They are classic and will never go out of style. A beautiful gift to give and receive. I was given a set of 3 as a wedding gift and always receive compliments on them when I use them.

Misleading description

I own Nambe pieces myself. This was for a gift. The Nordstrom site described it as a medium-sized Butterfly bowl. All other sites give the three sizes of the Nambe Butterfly bowl: 7", 9" and 11", with the 9" bowl running the same price as the one on the Nordstrom site. Yet, lower in the Nordstrom description, the bowl is described as 11" wide. I took a chance and ordered it but did make the customer service agent aware of the discrepancy. When I received it, the bowl measured 8". This was much too small for my gift purposes, so I returned it. The last time I looked, the discrepancy of size was still on the site description. Nambe is responsible for the misleading 9" description for an 8" bowl, but Nordstrom further muddied the water by listing it as a medium-sized bowl of 11".

Beautiful

This is a beautiful bowl; a work of art. We purchased this as a wedding gift for our daughter. She is already using it. She could use this bowl while entertaining a casual event or formal event. It is gorgeous!!

Classic and Modern

I fell in love with this bowl the first time I saw it. Like all great designs, it is masterful in its simplicity and is classic in its shape. I have given it as a gift many times, and every time the recipient is delighted as well as impressed. It will look great in any setting, traditional or modern.
