Soft, well made, true colors

For my kitchen, it works perfectly. It's very bright but doesn't scream at me in the mornings. I also got a different rug in this collection that has overlapping rings, like a wedding ring quilt. Of the 2, this Hanover rug is my favorite. The rug is true to description and color. And this brand is one I have loved and lived with for years.

It was hard for me to rate this on my experience. I searched for weeks before finding this rug. The picture shows to be a small diamond, consistent with soft colors. It most definitely was going to be perfect for my small dinning area. I received my order which consisted of two different style rugs; this being last to arrive. My anticipation went away the moment I saw it, which was of huge diamonds and was a braided style weave and over bearing for the small space intended. I am not saying the rug was not pretty; it was, but it did not look like what I had ordered, however I thank Home Depot for a hassle free return.

Not Cotton - and Color Not as Pictured

I own several of the Safavieh Handmade Nantucket Rugs and have purchased them over the years. They all have a similar color palette - but NOT this one. The material feels very different from my others - I believe it's polyester or similar. Also the primary colors used are almost neon and if you walk on it in bare feet, you can feel the many, many rough, hard bumps of glue that is used to hold it together. This last one I purchased is a 9x12 and weighs around 150+ pounds. Believe me, once you schlep it into your house, unpack and unroll it, you're not likely to return it. I feel pretty stuck.

Color me beautiful!!

I love my new rug that I put in our foyer. It is 5x8 and fits so well! Why a way to be welcomed into our home with this bright, beautiful and oh so colorful rug!!! I liked it in the picture, but wait until you see it. It is such a Wow! All walls are painted medium gold and the rug of course matches so well. As soon as you step into our house, the rug helps to give you a huge hug.............If you love a lot of color, this is the rug for you!!

LOVE THE COLORS!

I love these rugs by Safavieh. I have 4 of this particular style. The colors are bold and bright. They are very thick and nicely done. There will always be some shedding of pieces of fabric, but the first rug I bought from another Safavieh collection 5 years ago still looks fabulous. I do not use a beater bar when I vacuum this style of rug. I have these in my kitchen, bedroom, dining room, and living room.

This rug looks fresh and vibrant. It is heavy and sturdy like a welcome mat. Gorgeous! Love the colors, soft to walk on barefoot. Did not understand from the description, however, that I was buying rag rugs. The runners had pulls in them within the first week, from our dogs running down the hall to their dog door. To keep them from getting totally shredded, I moved them to serve as a cooler path from our house to the pool. That works great, but the Arizona sun has nearly bleached the color out, and yes, the colors in person are much darker than the product photos suggest.

Beautiful rug! It's just as described and looks exactly like the photos. The colors pop and it's well made. I now have 6 of these rugs in different sizes and patterns throughout my home and I'll be getting more to complete my boho eclectic decor. l'd definitely recommend this rug to anyone looking to brighten up their space rather it be home, office etc... Overall I'm happy and look forward purchasing many more rugs and items from Overstock. Cheers everyone!

Bright and Cheerful

I bought this rug to place in a long entryway of a room I use for business purposes in my home. I like it. It is pretty soft, though not enormously so. It's a rag material. A couple of caveats- it takes a while to dry after cleaning, so use a fan. Also, ive noticed that several of the knots have unraveled under normal use over the course of two years. However, because of the pattern, it's hardly noticeable, and the unraveling of those places has not led to further damage. I do recommend this rug.

Nice

I love it but I'm also not a perfectionist. I got a great discount but there's a reason why certain things get put on discount. It was full of some kind of powder that doesn't show at first sight. It fell through after a couple weeks. Also, not a good buy if you have clawed cats. Mine have gotten caught on the loom pattern and have pulled a few loops out. Lastly, there is white paint on it in places. It's not terribly noticeable but it's there. Again, I love it, it's beautiful, but there's a reason these products get such a discount.

Beautiful but threadbare

What a beautiful rug. It's just a shame that I don't see how this rug will last more than a year. Firstly, it a true 'rag rug'. Each strand/fiber is hand-woven as an individual piece which in fact, are bits of fabric, or rags. Each loom easily pulls out, especially if you have small kids around. Or you inadvertently run a vacuum over it. ,

Exceedingly bright Colors

The picture of the rug is so pretty. Love the colors, love the pattern. In person, though, the rug is very bright. Like neon bright. IN YOUR FACE BRIGHT! And the triangles/squares are BIG. Not small like they look in the photo. So, a little deceiving. Returning is kind of a big deal (packaging, rolling, etc., plus the rug weighs a ton), so be sure you are prepared for uber bright colors and big triangles! I gave it two stars because it really is 8x10, so that much about it is true. I'm disappointed.
