Dirty

2 of the 4 cushions had dirt marks on them. The marks looked like someone had grabbed the cushions with dirty gloves. I thought it would be an easy clean off, but it required about a 1/2 hour of time. One stool had the pre-drilled holes not completely drilled so the screw will not seat properly. This causes that stool to be unbalanced. I had expected better.

Exceptional Customer Service, But the Bar Stools not as Exceptional

This is two-part review; 1. NJ's Customer Service and 2. the product itself. For various resaons, we did not care for the bar stools and decided to return them. NJ's Customer Service were readily available to help, offered several alternatives (replacement parts, partial replacement, discounts, etc.), but, ultimately, accepted the returns, including shipping and processed a full refund. Rare in this day and age of fly-by-night on-line Sellers and endless loopholes when it comes to returns. For this reason alone, we would consider NJ products again. As far as the stools themselves, while they looked nice, we questioned their durabilty (both the frame and the fabric on the cushion). Two chairs also arrived with some damage (which NJ did offer to replace). The frame is held together with four very small screws at the foot rungs that seemed destined as a possible site of strutural failure. If you buy these stools, suggest you apply wood glue at these joints to help provide additional strength. The cushion fabric was not stretched tightly over the cushion which created folds in the top of the cushion when you sat in them. The fabric itself seemed rather thin and not particularly durable. These are the reasons which all conrtibuted to us returning them.

Wood Boucle Counter Height Bar Stool Dark Brown

We like the stools overall. Nice color, nice counter height, came fast and easy to assemble. Only ding is the mitered angles of the support wood between the legs could be improved. Try as I did I was unable to get them to rest flat agains the likes. There are gaps. I’m a woodworker so notice things like this.

A Good Prpduct

I am mostly satisfied with our new counter stools. The order & communications process was good, and shipping was good. The only issue I had was with the assembly, which I think was oversimplified in the marketing descriptions, at an estimated 20 minutes. It's not as if I've never put pieces of furniture before - I am experienced at it. The problem is the holes drilled to receive the machine bolts were not drilled exactly, and as a result, it took a fair amount of time to get them in place. It's not a big deal and they are a good product, but it's enough to turn a 5 star into a 4 star. My recommendation is that you use a fixed jig to drill these holes so they would be more exact.

Terrible construction

1/3 of the attachment fittings were either stripped, not inserted deeply enough to secure the hex bolts, etc. I had to call a contractor friend who helped re-engineer these to be safe! Obviously designed by marketing department, not engineers! Plus the seat fabric is already wrinkling on Day One!

Beautiful color and easy to assemble

Exactly as described on website. Excellent customer service for any questions and concerns. Pay attention to the measurements when you order. If the chair wobbles after assembling, that means you didn’t tighten/loose the screws and bolts all the same level. Adjust the “75%” tight as stated on the manual for all screws and it will come out exactly how it should be. It is much better than expected, most of all, it is comfortable to sit on. I hope the cushions last long because it looks thin which I like the look of it yet I don’t feel the frame when sitting so it does has good enough cushion.

Bar stools

I purchased these before the start of the holidays. One chair, the legs are very uneven so the chair rocks back-and-forth. There’s no way to fix that. On the second chair, on the seat area, where the screw attaches to the seat it is missing the metal that grips onto the screw. There’s no way to get a screw into the bottom of the seat. I have called the The company several times and have sent a message, no reply as of today. Not very happy nor what I recommend the company or the barstools.

Boucle counter Stools are awesome

The boucle counter stools exceeded our expectations. They were easy to assemble and look fantastic in our new kitchen. The seats are wide and comfortable. The chairs are functional and elegant.

Great for the first week

These chairs are lovely when you first build them. And then the fabric starts holding onto everything and you have to try to pick out every hair or piece of lint that gets on them. We have four adults in our house. These should be spotless, but the fabric is terrible and holds on to everything. And it stretched out within the first weeks so now the seats are all loose and wrinkled looking. I'm going to have to have these reupholstered because five of them was not cheap and there is no way I'm throwing them out. I could have returned them, but how do you return chairs you already built without having to take them all apart? Not worth the hassle.

Lovely stools but wobble a bit

These stools are beautiful and I love the color & fabric. Shipping was fast and packaging was great. The pieces were all well protected and there was no damage. The only complaint I have is that the stools wobble a bit when there is no one sitting on them. Once there is weight put in them, they are fine. I just wish that they were sturdier without having to put weight on them.

The stools are very attractive and comfortable. Poorly engineered. Of the 4 stools only two do not wobble. This is after many attempts and adjustments. All 4 stools have the back of one leg where the wood is pieced together. This is noticeable as the back of stools face into the room.

Beautiful Stools!

These stools are gorgeous! They are classy, comfortable and easy to assemble. I like that the back rest is not so high and doesn't block the view. The color is a little creamier than the photo, but still looks great!
