I didn’t realize that assembly is necessary- it wasn’t notable in the description- it’s like a big box of Tinker Toys. So I’ve put it aside

To the people that failed at assembly of this wine rack!!

To all of you that failed at Tinker Toys, Google "Tinker Toys" and look at the rods closely (magnify the image). There is a slot cut in the end of each rod. This is to allow it to compress and to be able to be inserted and removed from the hole of the other parts. You could do this to the rods of this wine rack, but I would not recommend it. You don't want it to come apart with wine in it, due to being bumped or maybe an earthquake happening.

Wine rack was extremely easy to assemble; used basic tools to put together and was up and running in less than 15 minutes!

Great price, but would've paid more if it came assembled

Love this wine rack, from the professional look, to the sound the bottles make against the wood. What I don't love was the painfully difficult assembly. It took me just under an hour and I had to hammer the pegs in with a mallet. Even with my efforts I still don't feel confident loading this rack up with 12 bottles, as some of the pegs are a little loose. I wish container store offered this rack pre-assembled and charged a little more. Overall I am happy with my purchase and smile each time I look at it.

Beautiful!

I love this so much. I have it set up in my basement (ordered two) and it bring me so much joy when I see it. Beautiful, great quality, and pretty easy to set up. Took me a second to get in a good flow putting it together - but once I did - pretty easy!

A little bulky

I had thought of using these in my pantry to store bottles of Mutti pureed tomatoes (I have to order them online so buy six at a time), but after I assembled the rack, I realized it would take up too much room for that purpose. I left it out in my family room where it has caused great curiosity among my grandchildren.

Incredibly durable and functional

After assembly was completed I felt that my wine was in a durable and safe environment. Humidity and moisture does not negatively impact the sturdiness of these racks. My space limitations only allows me to stack 4 sets a vertical tower. Works great, no wobbling or fears of falling or disassembly. Worth the effort putting the pieces together. Used a rubber mallet, recommend it over regular hammer.

Perfect Wine Rack

I had been needing a larger wine rack for quite some time, and after being “influenced” by Erica Cerulo of “A Thing or Two” I decided that this would be the one to come into my home and be the cozy home for all of my grape friends :). It’s everything I wanted! Easy to assemble, made in the US, not too expensive considering the quality and most importantly (to me anyway), it’s a pleasure to look at. Definitely recommend!

Great for the price! Looks great above my bar in my barn fun room!

It took me long time to put everything together but this is very useful for me and I use it everyday.

I'm super happy with this purchase. It was easy to put together and sturdy. I love that it's customizable to fit in any location and can easily add additional pieces. The unpainted dowels are smooth so no need to worry about getting splinters during setup! I used a rubber mallet to assemble- hopefully it won't be too hard to breakdown when I need to move. The bottles fit well and can be positioned to lay horizontally or tilted to keep the cork wet. Overall, I definitely recommend this product!

LOVE IT

The Ash Wood 12-Bottle Wine Rack is beautiful. The packaging was neat. the instructions are easy. I like that the wine rack can be constructed to fit any space.

Sturdy and Functional

My husband loved putting the wine rack together. And it sure beats our old, flimsy rack.

A lot of work to assemble but a fun family activity. Great present especially for Christmas. This can actually dub as two presents as it can make two wine racks for 6 bottles.

Easy to assemble. Online description understated way this system can be customized for available space. Would be helpful if Walmart sells supplemental parts to add to kits without having to buy whole new set.

Great for in the cabinet use

I ordered my new tinker toys and built the wine rack so it fits inside of a bottom island kitchen cabinet. Works perfectly fir me - and I love that it’s made in the USA. When assembling use a rubber mallet if you have one - makes the assembly easy and tight without worrying about denting or damaging the wood.
