It will work for awhile

It went together easily. But there were at least 100 fasteners so it takes more than 25 minutes unless you are superman.!

I love how strong and sturdy this piece is.

First of all I put this together all by myself and I'm a 71 year old female. I found it easy to assemble too. It's not made with cheap wood either. My bathroom has a Hawaiian theme to it and this fits in perfectly. Now I have to try to put the cupboard together that goes with it.

Mostly solid

Well packaged, survived shipping well. Very sturdy. Not difficult to put together though some of the guide holes for screws could be a bit larger. It does have an odor that I hope will eventually fade. Altogether not a bad buy.

The Bamboo

Love a bamboo cabinet. This one is as pictured in the photo, but was hard to assemble. Note: the lower, horizontal railing that goes BEHIND the toilet has to be screwed on AFTER you move the cabinet into position straddling the toilet. This rail is the LAST step of assembly. Good luck.

Great option

My old over the toilet storage was from Walmart. It was good for a short period of time but then started warping and became completely unusable and hideous. Needed an upgrade, had a few coupons/discounts happening on this storage cabinet. It's pretty, pretty stable and feels nice. I just put it together. Hopefully it will stand the humidity of the bathroom..

Takes time to assemble, good quality for price

I don't know why none of these reviews mention how long it will take to put together! I severely underestimated the time required to build this cabinet. I'm admittedly not good at these projects, but I can usually get them done without too much trouble. I spent 2 hours on this cabinet and ended up with a wobbly finished product and a bag full of parts that I didn't use and I'm still not sure where they belong. The bar to stabilize the base also isn't usable if your toilet is up against the wall. (Or maybe it is, I just couldn't figure it out!) The cabinet does look great, just make sure you know how to put it together and you have the time to do it.

Beautiful Cabinet

This is a great looking sturdy bathroom storage cabinet. They make it very easy to install numbering all the parts with stickers. Don't take the stickers off before installing like I did. I thought it was the number of the inspector. I wish they put a notice not to remove the stickers until after the install for people like me. Only reason for 4 stars is that this is an over the toilet storage and the bottom and the bottom support beam does not clear the pipes for the toilet. If they raise the lower beam support, this is easily a 5 star product..

Decent with a few things to note

The quality seems nice, but if you want to leave the bottom shelf backing off like me, know that the backing for the top cabinet part hangs awkwardly down past the first covered shelf. It would have been perfect if it wasn't like that since I have an outlet in the space over my toilet. I am using wood glue to put it where it needs to be because the backings and supporting wood bars slide down the full length of the back of the cabinet without any stoppers (if you use all backings and bars, no problem, but for me, this would fully block an outlet). I may try to get some height-adjusting feet for this thing and definitely going to wall-mount. The bottom support bar needs some clearance between the toilet and wall, and there's no flexibility there since there's only one set of pre-drilled holes. This was just my problem; my toilet is too close to the wall, so the bar would only fit in weird heights. A drill wouldn't go through to make a makeshift spot for screws.

Compact, quality storage unit

A nice, quality storage unit for above the toilet. It was fairly easy to put together (the instructions could be a bit clearer in terms of which side is which, etc, but it was easy enough for one person to assemble). Almost all the pieces appear to be real (bamboo) wood. The back covering is likely some light particle board. My only issue is the height of the unit. My toilet’s flush valve is on the top, not side, and this unit is not tall enough to be able to fit your hand underneath to flush. The unit measures about 33.5 inches from the bottom of the legs to the bottom of the lower shelf (for those wondering), which isn’t shown in the measurements provided by the manufacturer (I also searched online but couldn’t find it prior to buying the unit). I took a chance and it was a bit too low. But I propped up the unit about half an inch using some sturdy furniture sliders. Having it anchored to the wall, I’m pretty confident it will work out just fine. Overall a nice storage unit if not a bit pricey.

I have several areas that I have had to glue back together. Lastly, It is very rocky and unstable. If It is not anchored It may fall over when touched. It’s beautiful but really not worth the price.

This cabinet looked very similar to 2 other cabinets on Overstock, however, this cabinet was quite a bit less expensive than the other two options. It had no reviews but I took a chance and it surpasses my expectations. I’m glad I didn’t go fo r the more expensive ones, as mine looks just as good, if not better than many of the customer provided images for those that cost a lot more! This provides a nice amount of open storage and even better, some enclosed storage space for my very vintage San Francisco studio bathroom in a 100 year old building. I have some slightly uneven floors, but after securing this to the mid-wall molding trim its now super sturdy. While I was concerned upon seeing the box this shipped in (which had a few gashes and the corners smashed in) I was pleasantly surprised to find no damage to any of the bamboo wood parts of this - though I was less enthused about the entirely styrofoam filler used to hold all of the sections of this secure in the box. Putting it together wasn’t too bad, aside from a very small splinter of the bamboo that got painfully stuck in my thumb (ouch!) and having to squint at the instruction diagrams - while all the parts were labeled (yay) the pictures are just 2” X 2” illustrations, and that size makes it difficult to discern the correct orientation for some of the steps. (Is that a notch? Not sure… looks like it is, ok - only to find out several steps along the way that “no, that must not have been meant to go that way, because now this part doesn’t go in as it should). Thankfully it was not too difficult to backtrack and make the correction. I’d say it took me about 45 min total from opening the box to putting into place and putting the packaging in my recycling. Overall, it’s a nice item, very functional, looks good, and was a great deal.
