Pretty nice but not as well finished as photo
I think this is fine as a bedside stool for an average sized adult. One star off for the sharply squared corners, the item photo shows rounded corners but this is not rounded on the legs, more likely to splinter. A kid would be rough on this and loosen splinters on the sharply squared corners. Mine had a few small splinters as received, easily sanded smooth. I weigh 250 so I will go easy on this but I like bamboo to match my split bamboo rugs. Assembly is pretty easy, screws go in perfectly in the pre-drilled holes and they include an Allen wrench and one extra screw. No cracking sounds as the screws were driven in. This is a biodegradable product.

did not like that it had to be put together. the size would have maybe fit a childs foot!! will be returning.

the parts didn’t align correctly for putting together. was able to force 2/4 of the screws in however to force it to work.
Cute bamboo stool for kids
Love this little bamboo step stool. Super cute but I would say it doesn’t seem to be too sturdy for adults to use. I bought it for my kids to be able to use their sink in their bathroom. Also it doesn’t have any grips at the bottom so it tends to move around making it not as sturdy but bought some and added them and it’s fine now. Perfect for kids trying to wash their hands and brush their teeth
