My knife Block is better then I could imagine. I put my knife on there and it did not move. This block is beautiful as well. It has good magnetic fields and is beautiful and it looks beautiful on my counter thank you Wayfair

Beechwood is a hard, strong and heavy wood . It has a tight grain and even texture. Perfect for holding your knives. I like the light color of this wood...lends itself to the modern shape of this magnetic set. this an excellent shaped block for a center island or large counter space. Should be admired from all angles.
