No treated

I really like how it flips but it is not treated. It rough with little splinters sticking up. So disappointed. My son is going to sand it and treat it with something to see if that will work.

High quality spoons!

I love this set of spoons. Finding the Medium Spoons were difficult. After waiting from my initial order on Amazon I placed in July, I was notified that they had been lost in shipment and the order cancelled. I had a partial thumb amputation due to cancer and these spoons are awesome. I need a thick handle (of course it was on my right hand) and I can grasp it easily. They are quality and I am sure I will have them to pass down to my daughter. I may order two more. You can ever have too many wooden spoons!

Spent a while looking

I particularly like this type of utensil. It's shape is good for stirring, scraping and turning; this one is comfortable in the hand and is good to use. Maybe a little thick in the blade, but that may make it harder wearing...

Wood very rough needs to be sanded

Have purchased many OXO products from Kohl's in the past and have been very satisfied with every purchase. This wood turner must have missed the sanding process. The wood is very rough needs to be sanded. Uncomfortable, rough on hands when using. Tried oiling with food grade mineral oil without improvement.

I love how solid it is. I have used it multiple times to cook and it washes well. I haven't had not one issue at all I will definitely recommend to others. I even want to get the whole set utensils to complete the set. It's worth getting more and is made to last.

I really wanted to love this Turner but I just don’t. I like it. I’m not in love with it. It’s really wide on the bottom, so it’s not good for turning thin things, like eggs. It just breaks them. It works for heavier things though, like chicken.

I’ve been using this turner for a few weeks now. I had a old wooden spatula that I threw out upon receiving this one. This wooden turner is thicker than the spatula I used for pretty much everything. I can’t use this turner for as many things. It’s too thick for flipping pancakes and smaller more fragile foods. However it’s nice when mixing up ground meat.

This OXO wooden turner is very good in quality. Great egde to turn the pancackes or mix the things in pan. It doesnt scratch my non stick pans. I have hand washed it only and it is looking like new even after weeks of usage.

I love this for flipping and tossing while sautéing. It doesn’t get stuck to the bottom of the food (or pan) like some plastic turners do. It is s little rough after hand washing, but I believe a kitchen oil for cutting boards would bring it back to like-new luster.
