The pictured item is not what you receive!

Because the picture shows a round trivet, I assumed that was what I would receive. The title does say "oval", but even the specifications say 8.27" length by 8.27" width. What I received is 8.25" x 6". Please update this with the correct photo and specifications. I either wouldn't have ordered it or I would have ordered the larger size had I realized it was only 6" wide.

Love these, use them often on my kitchen counters

Bought a bunch in different sizes and use them with my staub and other hot dishes for counter top buffet. They clean up nicely and look great.

Staub Trivet💕

I love this trivet, it's a genius design. The magnet is strong and it's a sleek design that doesn't distract from the beauty of a dutch oven. Bought to protect my dining room table and wanted a safe design for a hot pot. Since it's magnetized you can store on metal, mines on the top side (where it doesn't get hot) on my stove.

great invention

Ive never seen a trivet like this before. The wood construction is very durable and an attractive color. The magnets inside adhere the trivet to the bottom of my Staub cocotte. It makes it so much easier to serve from the table in my cast iron vessels.

Received wrong size, but i love this product.

I ordered 9" but received 11" x 7". I will use it anyway. The product is awesome. It fits most of my Staub pots and pans.

This is one of our companies most ingenious ideas. The magnetic trivet attaches to the bottom of the pan or cocotte when its removed from heat. Using the same handles, it can be transferred to the table in one easy motion. One word of caution, when you need to put the pot back into the oven you need to remove the magnetic trivet or the wood will scorch.

It is worth having a few of these on hand for transfering a hot cocotte to the table for serving. These fit the oval and coq au vin cocottes and are magnetic on the bottom so the trivet attaches to the cocotte and you just carry to the table with the handles and the trivet stays put.

We love to serve food in our Staub oval pieces because they are so pretty and work perfect for keep dishes hot. This trivet always comes into use. It sticks to the bottom of your Staub pieces so it does not slip and keeps your table free from the heat

Perfect for my oval Staub fish plate! I love that it's magnetic and clings to the bottom of the pan. Perfect thickness to protect the countertop. Great quality, durable, and lightweight. Natural finish that would easily complement any kitchen. Highly recommend!

Brilliant idea!

Magnetizing this wood trivet was brilliant! When handling a heavy and hot Staub cast iron cocotte you do not want your trivet slipping out from under the pot and/or tipping. This solves that problem by securely fastening to the bottom of your cocotte! It will keep your counter or table protected from the heat and stay in place the whole time until you remove it.

Great Idea

This is such a great idea. I pull my cast iron out of the oven and set it on the wooden trivet, wa la, it's stuck to it. It goes straight to the table and no worries about damaging anything. I need round ones too!

I prefer wood trivets over any other surface and this one is perfect for my Staub coq au vin pans or cocottes. It is magnetic so you can attach it to the pan before you take dinner to the table. It can with stand temperatures up to 392F, perfect for those hot Staub pans. I also use it for my Staub grill pans too.

Attaches firmly to the pot bottom for moving from counter to table. Perfect for family stew night .It doesn't slide when you are ladling out the stew.
