This storage box is great for saucers. It is not quite big enough for bread and butter plates, but it is great for saucers. It holds more than expected . The fabric and lining is a very nice quality with felt dividers. If you are putting these in a packing box, I would add some other packing material to ensure they were adequately cushioned and immobile.

Thoughtful design!

Everything I wanted to pack up my china was provided, including felt to go between the plates. I first packed up all the plates in one carrier (12) but decided it was too heavy to pick up and divided it between 2, and put the serving bowls on top of the plates. Perfect. The handles are very securely attached, and the boxes were were a snap to assemble.

I purchased this and I am very happy with my product. It is totally collapsible and well made. I have several sets of dishes and I can store them in these and see what is in there. I don't have to make labels or wonder what I put in there. I will be buying more.

Dinner Plate storage Chest

I purchased new dishes for a party, but did not have cupboard space to store them. These canvas chests are perfect for for storing dinner plates on a shelf in the basement. The chest includes twelve felt pads to place between plates. Love the chests.
