Internal width is 15mm too long. Frames cannot fill the cavity. Assembly very easy, will have to see how the plastic foundation works.

Awful. None of the tops to sides of frame fit. Splits the side wood pieces when we’d have to try and force it in.

Easy to construct

Looks the goods, easy to construct. Half size so is easy to lift around when full. Still more expensive than local suppliers though. Needs to be about $20 cheaper.

First time buying a vevor deep bix

I received my delivery promptly. Upon inspection of the box, it was clearly glued together. I reached out to Vevor. One of the long sides was broken in half and glued back together. I supplied pictures and my receipt. I live in a climate that gets extremely cold during the winter. The condensation in the hive plus the extreme cold temps will cause that bond to fail. They said it was solid and refused a replacement. I will be returning this to Home Depot. Not recommended!. Bees are an investment.

I am very happy with this Hive. It looks good, is very functional and best of all, my Bees Love it!

Overall the box was good and easy to assemble. The included frames were good, pre-waxed and ready to use.

Beautiful Cedar Hives

I have 5 of these hives with 2 more on the way. beautifully made and easy to assemble. I moved a swarm into the first one 2 days ago and they have settled in well, I shall populate the rest of the hives as bees become available but it is getting cold so may have to finish the job in Spring. I would recommend making some simple insulated jackets if the weather gets really cold if your swarm size is small. At this great price using the deep frames from one of the hives as swarm traps makes a good proposition as any bees trapped can be housed in a full hive without disturbance.These hives are more attractive than polyhives and with a regular coating of bees wax should last years

Beautiful beehives

I now have 4 of these hives , one assembled and 3 waiting to go. Easy to put together well made and cut and very attractive compared to polystyrene hives. I have not used plastic foundation before and I hope that they will not blow out as happens with rapeseed honey which wrecks wax. I have a Vevor electric honey extractor so can control the extraction. I have some swarm traps out and one has had bees for 2 days now and looks promising so will move into their new home soon.

Great Hive

Very well made hive with dovetail joints. Highly recommend due to quality of the wood and the top and bottom board already assembled.

Coating on the outside came off already after two weeks. Need to paint it.

I bought the single brood box some weeks back and the quality and beauty was such that I just had to buy this hive. Great well made hive, looking forward to getting the bees in.

I love that you have finally included the plexiglass observation window with your hives. To date, all of my hive equipment is VEVOR just because of that feature.

Great value, but had to file some of the dovetail joints to get them to connect

Deep beehive with 10 Frames

Exterior beeswax lasted three weeks. Will need to stain/paint. Endgrain on dovetails will need detailed painting after the wax wears off/ages.
