Mine had salvage on edges but still love it! Does need mat underneath because dirt will accumulate .
Absolutely beautiful rug! The runner DOES have tassels, which may be a turn off for some people, but I love them! The coloring is beautiful. I was surprised at how soft this rug is under bare feet. Granted, it's not the softest rug I own, but it's not nearly as rough as most natural fiber rugs.
