Beautiful ivory/light gray area rug!

This is a wonderful ivory and light gray sisal wool rug. I first bought a small size just to test it before I committed to the 8x10 size. I use it as a door mat by the French doors that go to the garden. Our dogs go in and out of those doors as do we and it has held up extremely well. Resists staining and still looks new. So I took the plunge and bought the 8x10 for my living room and I couldn’t be happier. My floor is ivory porcelain tile and this rug goes beautifully with it, adds texture and pulls the room together. I highly recommend it!

First let me say I own several Safavieh area rugs and love them all and this one is no exception. They all have been durable and of good quality. I purchased this rug to go under our casual/ formal dinning table. I wanted a rug that has texture, is durable, and is able to withstand spills and pet accidents. I already had a pet with digestive issues vomit twice on this rug and it cleaned up wonderfully with vinegar and water. Because the material is wool and sisal, cleaning with vinegar and water works for both material. When I vacuum it, I turn the beater off which is best especially with wool. The color of the border is a very light gray. The center is slightly two toned... the wool is more of a cream...the sisal (in between wool) is a very light gray. Texture underfoot is comfortable (slightly soft/slightly textured). I would use this rug anywhere entry, mudroom, kitchen, dinning, or living area. It's very versatile. Rug arrived with no odor and no shedding. Received shipment from Home Depot in excellent condition.

I am in absolute love with this area rug! It appears to be very well made and laid flat immediately upon putting it my floor. I did put a rug pad under it for additional cushion. This rug has a soft feel to it and I’m noticing any natural fibers coming off it. It is the perfect addition to my casual dining area and will definitely blend easily with my living room decor which is visible from my dining area. Would highly recommend this rug. I am thrilled I found it after months of searching did the perfect rug.

Very durable, stays clean beware of rubber backing

This rug is very durable. I used it in two very high traffic areas and little to no wear and tear evident with shoes and two- three dogs in the house. It was a little prickly at first but after 6 months got softer for the feet. And after two years wasn’t noticeably prickly. Vacuumed great. Lost a few stars due to the rubber backing deteriorating in the last year and sticking to the wood floor. Didn’t have an issue in the first two years but third year of use in a dry climate and it stuck to the floor in high traffic areas. Get a rug pad if you are going to leave this in place for a long time. Otherwise expect a mess and get some grain-alcohol to remove the backing from hardwood. And lots of elbow grease.

Great neutral, durable and cleans up well!

I purchased this rug about 6 months ago, was a bit nervous about how well it would hold up with twin toddlers and two dogs and all the dirt and spills that go with that cargo. I’ve been very impressed! It’s not in a high traffic area but has seen its fair share of muddy footprints...I’ve never used water on it but mud has just vacuumed right up! It’s soft enough on bare feet and for the price, is a perfect neutral that anchors the rest of the room. Ordering was simple and delivery was quick. No weird smells once unrolled. I would definitely buy this rug again.

When the ad said a mix of wool and sisal for material content, I thought the 2 would be blended and woven together in one strand. It is not. The sisal and wool fibers are separate producing highs and lows in the pile. Colors are also difficult to determine from online photos... The border is a light taupe, the sisal fibers are a light natural (not gold like so many other natural fibers) and the wool is a yellow off white. It is not as soft as I had hoped, and running your hand over the pile, the sisal fibers are prickery. I cannot imagine walking on it in bare feet. All in all it is a nice looking looking rug, but the feel and colors are not what I was looking for so I will be returning it.

I was looking for a natural rug for my formal dining room. It appears that natural rugs add some style and character in today’s interior design trends. I liked the fact that the rug was a combination of wool and sisal. The rug arrived in a timely manner, safely wrapped and I had no problems with smell or being flat. However, I am going to return it as the color is not as pictured. I ordered in color grey hoping it would be a uniform grey color. The rug is two toned. The border and the background which is made of sisal fibers are grey and the braiding is in wool and sort of cream color. Because of such a contract the braiding is very obvious which makes the rug sort of stripe looking. Luckily, i ordered a small size hoping to use it just in the hallway and to see if it was worth ordering in a bigger size. It would have been a hassle to return 9x12.
