It fits in my entry way with just the right amount of space on each side. It feels "rough", but it is kind of like rubbing your foot across a pumice stone during a pedicure so I think it is an added bonus! I love the color as my home is very gray and the tan gives it a little pop, but nothing crazy!

This rug looks and feels better than we imagined it would be. We love the variegated subtle stripes of tan, light brown, and gray-green. With the felt pad underneath, this rug is very comfortable under our feet. The only thing that we have against it so far is the shedding. It makes the wood floor that it’s on look dusty quickly. The felt pad prevents this shedding from falling through to the floor underneath.

I love the Safavieh natural fiber collection I've bought it before and I'll buy it again. It feels good under your feet it's substantial and it came true to color.

I never write reviews, but this situation warrants one. Using this rug as a runner in the kitchen. It started shedding from the first. Black fibers under the rug had to be vacuumed constantly. Now the rug fibers are just breaking down completely and the rug is disintegrating to the point of unravelling. I've had this rug 5 months. It's going in the garbage.

Very stinky…. Made the entire room smell like actual dirt. The rug sheds like crazy. In person the weave actually appears in 6 inch stripes of color. I would definitely pass on this rug.

Very nice rug

This is a very nice jute rug. The colors are muted, not too pronounced. The fringes are over 4 inches long. However, many of the them arrived frayed or unbraided. That aside, with a rug pad underneath, the rug feels thick and cushy underfoot.

Good quality and durable

Beautiful quality rug, exactly as pictured. We have two, one outside on the porch and one inside. They do a beautiful job of catching dirt, while not showing it. The dirt/sand does fall through, but vacuuming underneath every once in a while does the trick. I have used the vacuum on the rug inside, and I have sprayed the rug outside with the hose and left in the sun to dry. They both still look great!

Great Rug

Love it! Just what I needed! Color matches online picture. No raveling, quick delivery and well packaged. It has a tight weave and the color is even throughout! Well made rig.

Poor quality, falling apart, not worth the price

This appears very close to the online photos but I am not happy with the quality and wish I had returned it right away. The tassels are very ratty and can't be helped. There are chunks of material that started coming apart and undone within the first couple hours we had it out. Total waste.

I love this rug. The color blends in with any type of decorating style. My daughter is renting a house with tile floors. I bought several of these rugs to put around to cut down on the sound echoing about. Now please realize that this rug will shed for quite a long time due to it being a natural fiber -expect to vacuum quite a bit for the first few months. But, know they are lovely and look great!

Super soft

Incredibly soft and super durable. Yes it sheds at the beginning, but quick vacuum it is just fine. Flip this rug every couple of weeks and it gets even more soft and gently worn with time. I'm very impressed with the quality and the fringe makes for a unique design.

Waste of money. This natural fibre rug is so rough my family refuses to walk on it. It actually hurts your feet if you try to walk on it with bare feet. It also arrived with rips and tears on the surface, so it doesn’t even look good. I should have returned it but it’s so bulky that it seemed too much of a hassle.

Arrived to my house less than a week after order!!

I am so happy I went ahead and ordered this item. It looks exactly like the picture, and is at a great price point for the quality of the product! It also shipped to my home less than a week after ordering. I would recommend this to anyone trying to add style and functionality to there home.

Nice to find a 14 ft runner rug and planned to use it in our hallway running along all the bedrooms. Upon opening, the odor was fairly strong; not at all pleasant. I still thought it would be okay, so put it in place. My husband quickly vetoed it as there are sticks/jute ends poking up all over the place! Very uncomfortable yo even the sock foot. Not caring to packaging it all back for a return, it how is housed in the unfinished part of the basement. Useful I guess, but sure regret this purchase which is why online shopping is such a gamble for heavy items.

This rug is gorgeous. I love the colour, the pattern, the texture and the thickness. I did buy a rug pad for underneath and it makes it even more comfortable. It's a great welcoming message for my house guests, kids or any other visitors. I'm using it for wet winter boots (slush, salt) so to prevent the natural fibers from any possible dampness or smell, I've added a small plastic mat on top.

Messy Messy Messy!

The rug looks beautiful until you look under it after 1 day. It had a pile of dirt that was unbelievable! Also you need a pad under it or you will slip just walking on it if it's on a tile floor. The weave was flimsy and was held together with thin threads that surely would not have lasted under a dining table with the chairs moving in and out. Where the braids end, they burnt it so there are burn marks all over it. The shedding would have been unbearable so I rolled it up after 2 days and took it back. Too bad because I wanted a natural rug and this looked pretty. Looks are deceiving!

Best decision I have made in a while. Discovered this natural fiber rug at Lowe's and in the hard to find size I needed for my small home. Great price. Free FedEx delivery to my front door. Awesome rug -- has almost a golden weave thru it. I put a good rug pad under it and it looks exceptional.

This rug is made from natural sea grass fibers and is well made. It looks nice and I appreciate that it is all natural and I actually don’t mind the scent when you unpack it. However, it is very hard. Surprisingly so. This is not a rug you will enjoy with bare feet. I hope the fibers soften up a bit with time.
