Good purchase

We purchased this rug for a beach condo in 2019 and it is wonderful. It is not too rough as some natural rugs are, we vacuum it regularly and it continues to hold up well. It has frayed once or twice and easy to redeem by pulling it back from underneath. We have pets and they have not destroyed it. A good price for a good rug.

Waste of money. This natural fibre rug is so rough my family refuses to walk on it. It actually hurts your feet if you try to walk on it with bare feet. It also arrived with rips and tears on the surface, so it doesn’t even look good. I should have returned it but it’s so bulky that it seemed too much of a hassle.

Nice to find a 14 ft runner rug and planned to use it in our hallway running along all the bedrooms. Upon opening, the odor was fairly strong; not at all pleasant. I still thought it would be okay, so put it in place. My husband quickly vetoed it as there are sticks/jute ends poking up all over the place! Very uncomfortable yo even the sock foot. Not caring to packaging it all back for a return, it how is housed in the unfinished part of the basement. Useful I guess, but sure regret this purchase which is why online shopping is such a gamble for heavy items.

This rug is made from natural sea grass fibers and is well made. It looks nice and I appreciate that it is all natural and I actually don’t mind the scent when you unpack it. However, it is very hard. Surprisingly so. This is not a rug you will enjoy with bare feet. I hope the fibers soften up a bit with time.

Not as pictured. . This is an inexpensive mat that was a cost effective solution we were looking for in size and colour only. Our review is not good as at the online point of purchase the zoomed in video inspection of the natural fibre and weave in the sales pictures was shown to be a much finer fiber and a tighter smoother weave. . The actual mat/rug has a much courser, heavier and significantly rougher weave and finish and is so rough the light weight table legs do not sit level. Product photos and description not as advertised. (pictured) . Natural fibre product, surging and backing all appear to be the basic cost effective materials as intended. We ordered 3 rugs and the sale including shipping was exactly as notified upon purchase.

I will say, the rug looks great, however, it came in smelling very pungently of wet dirt. Like it honestly smelled like it had been sitting outside in wet dirt and they rolled it up and shipped it to me. My husband thought I should return it, but I thought maybe it is normal for a jute rug?? So we kept it, but now 2 weeks later the rug is literally leaving dirt and dust particles all over the floor. If I sweep every day there is a new pile of dirt. This cannot be normal right?!?

Beautiful rug !! Have been researching these rugs for weeks. So many bad reviews saying they had a horrible odor and hurt your feet. Mine definitely has none of those problems. Almost no odor at all, and surprisingly soft on the feet. . . Looks beautiful in my bedroom.

Can’t believe I found this rug at Walmart’s website. I’ve looked around and didn’t want to pay such high prices so while I was buying (first time) some small appliances online at Walmart (which incidentally I have to say I was very pleased with their process; Got 5 items on sale and they were delivered almost immediately.) I decided to look up rugs and found many natural material rugs. I really am so in love with this model. I am constantly updating my home as I’m retired and now have the time and can afford it. Also I’ve received many compliments as it fits beautifully in my coastal decorated room. I compared the price with other sites offerings and Walmart had the best price, really inexpensive. Want to buy more but I don’t have a place for it. One last word and I wish someone had told me this before: you won’t spend more than you have to if you check out Walmart first .

I LOVE this rug

This rug was the exact size I needed (it's hard to find an affordable runner under 8ft in length) and is better than I was expecting. While it is natural, it feels great under bare feet - I really love this rug. Not to mention, I placed my order on a Sunday evening and received it at my doorstep mid-day Tuesday - AMAZING service, Houzz! I highly recommend this rug if you're looking for something light in color, but also interesting.
