Natural jute rug with fringe

The rug is lovely. Only problem is the yarn fringe on the rug breaks apart and the fringe comes apart in areas. I’ve sewn some pieces back by hand. Manufacturer needs to rethink the fringe material and construction. It is a lovely rug, I have two in my bathroom and two in my kitchen. I must be careful not to step on the fringe.

Ouchy on bare feet

The rug looks good and is a beautiful Carmel color but it’s very rough on bare feet (literally razor sharp pieces of burned jute and other debris throughout- same as other customer photos and complaints). The knots were already coming loose too. It does not seem like it will last.

Awesome and beautiful but……

I absolutely adore this rug! It is even prettier than pictured and is surprisingly soft. My plumber even commented on how beautiful it is! This is my first jute rug so I was prepared for some shedding but it’s not bad. It vacuumed easily and stays contained UNDER the rug, which is a huge plus!

Beautiful Jute runner with end details

Beautiful and quality rug; the sale price was great! I purchased the 10' runner. Well made and as far as I can tell, reversible. The only reason I only gave 4 stars, is that it's a bit irregular in length (one corner longer than the other) It's very stretchy though and we velcroed corners down so that it's more "squared up" It doesn't curl or wrinkle at all. Slight smell like all Jute rugs. A great rug for the price.

Extremely dirty

I bought the Jute runner for my kitchen about two weeks ago. It looks lovely, however, it is filthy. I was expecting some dirt, but this rug leaves much more than dirt. It left little pieces of debris everywhere. I had to wash the floor three times on my hands and knees to get all the dirt and debris off the floor. It was disgusting. I certainly don't want that in my kitchen. I will have to throw out the rug now or put it in my garage. So disappointing.

Poor quality

I was so disappointed with this rug. It looked so gorgeous in the pictures. When I received my first rug it arrived wet and smelly. I called customer support and they picked up the rug and sent me another. The replacement rug was also disappointing. It looks kind of gross and dirty. Looks like it may have been used before. There was gold threads like party decor in the rug, blue yarn and the threads weren’t tight and uniform like in the photo. I seen some reviews that the rug was soft. Mine was not. It’s rough. Which I don’t mind. Just wish it was more like the advertised photos. You have to pay to return the rug so i’ve decided to just keep it and take the loss.

Very Messy Rug!

This is the worst rug! Yes it’s very attractive to look at but it is so incredibly messy. It leaves a sandy dirt like debris under the rug. I have had it for almost two years now and it still leaks an insane amount of jute debris. Also it will shed all over your clothes like mad. Especially your socks. My husband says it’s dumpster worthy but the only reason I have not replaced it is because I bought a huge one of these rugs and have yet to find a replacement I like that won’t break the bank. You have been warned. So unless you are one that likes to have a dirty space you have to clean constantly than I would stray far away from this product.

Beautiful texture, with flaw in the knots

There are pieces of knotted jute “ends” on both sides of this rug. Wish those pieces were only in one side, so that the “top side” didn’t have them. I don’t really mind how they look but I think they burned the knotted ends so there’s very sharp black jute in those ends. Very sharp to walk on. Otherwise, love the look of this rug. It’s not a flat type of rug, it has texture in the weave kind of like large bubbles. I personally love how they feel when I walk on them- like a massage haha! But def not comfy for sitting on. My kids hate it lol! But I have a soft shag rug layered on top so they sit on that. Also love the fringe!! It’s a macrame type of string they used.

Fool me twice...

I bought this rug a few years ago after months of searching for the perfect rug. It was gorgeous and the price was right, so I purchased this to layer under a smaller area rug with a pattern. It was beautiful when we first got it and I got many complements. However, within a few months, it looked as though it went through a shredding machine. I initially accused my daughter of snipping some parts with scissors (which led to it coming unraveled and frayed) but I never really believed she would do that. I just couldn't figure out what else could have happened. A year or so later, I bought another one. Exact same design. It was so gorgeous and I'd been pretty certain it was a fluke accident that happened with a kid to destroy it. So I bought the same exact rug a second time and once again it looked great...until it didn't. When it started greying, my kids were actually out of town so I know it wasn't foul play...this rug is just poorly made and starts falling apart with regular use within a few months. If a rug can't handle a few humans and a dog waking on it a few times each day, it's a bad rug.
