Wonderful chairs

Solid and beautiful wood. Seat and back the right size and supportive. Easy to assemble. Very happy with them. Looks great with the desk.

Assembly of chairs

I purchased these chairs for they matched the chairs that we had that over time started to fail and needed to be replaced.These are high quality chairs. I have to say they were not easy to put together I had a tough time connecting the back to the seat. Once i assembled them they looked great.

Not as expected.

I was expecting fully assembled chairs, ooops, they were not assembled. I was able to assemble them, it was not a fun process, but I did accomplish the task. Displeased with one of the legs on one of the chairs because the leg's length is short and does not reach the floor. I am unhappy. It is a chair, but it has a fault.

Assembly was kind of a pain

I received my chairs, and dove right into assembly.The instructions are easy to follow, but some of the pre-drilled holes and cut outs weren't aligned. I was able to put 1 chair together quickly and easily. the other 3 required some modifications to align screws and cam bolts. It all worked out, but could have been much easier

GREEEEEEAT

These chairs were very easy to assemble. The instructions with pictures made it really easy. Once assembled they were very sturdy. Only had 2 items that the manufacturer or supplier need to address. 1. The chairs did not come with chair sliders that go on the bottom of the chair legs. 2. There are 4 holes, where screws are inserted, on each chair that are exposed to view and there were 4 wooden plugs included in the kit for 2 chairs.

Good deal so far

So far so good. Easy to assemble. Watch out though and get the legs on facing the right direction. Didn't see any mention of that in the assembly instructions. If you put them on backwards like I did the seat tips the wrong way and the back is straight up and down.

Not what I thought

Not sure where this was made but the directions dont line up all that wellThe first chair I put together the entire back section did not fit into the seat part, I actually had to bend it to place it into the area. Heard a small crack in the wood.I put the 2nd chair together but the legs had a "B" on them to face the back but when I stood the chair up they should have been faced forward,One of the long screws did not hve a top on it, and one of the pieces that go into the spindle to hold the screw on was off set so the screw could not be screwd in on one side.The packaging was good. But I wish I had read more of the reviews first

Ok for the price I guess.

First I will give the heads up that these are a huge PITA to put together. I’ve done my fair share of assembling furniture and these chairs were hands down the most frustrating things to put together. The back of the chair is the hardest part of the assembly process. I said quite a few colorful words, broke a sweat and had to walk away a few times so I didn’t slam the things to the ground. After about 2 hours I put together 6 of these things.Second complaint: the little black caps to cover the screw holes keep popping off. It’s kind of embarrassing when you have company over and the cheap plastic cap comes off lol. My cat seems to enjoy when they fly off because she has an instant play toy…They look pretty nice and I can’t complain too much because I searched for simple, traditional black chairs and these were within my budget. You do get what you pay for. That being said I think they are priced right. I’d probably buy another set if I had to because they are pretty nice looking. There are some areas where the black paint kinda rubbed off. So I’ll have to take a sharpie or a little dab of black paint and touch them up.
