Beautiful table with a few hiccups

This set is gorgeous! I'd give it 5 stars except there were a few problems. 1. It was delivered by a 3rd party service because it was a heavy item. Well the delivery people showed up without masks on and im immunocompromised and disabled. I made sure to tell the people on the phone to make sure they wore masks but they didn't. 2. The packaging was ridiculously wasteful. I live in an apartment building with limited trash space, it took 3 weeks for me to be able to throw out all of the boxes/Styrofoam. 3. Although the builfing instructions were fairly simple some of the holes are not drilled in the right spot. I found frequently they were off by an inch and had to expand them a bit myself to even get the screws to fit. Thankfully I'm handy so I was able to fix this myself. 4. The expandable part of the table really needs some improvement. It took so much effort to get the slides to actually move enough to unfold the center. And then when I had to slide them back in they wouldn't budge. I had weird holes in my table for about a week until I was able to get a rubber mallet delivered. Once I used that it was fixed but thats definitely not listed as a required tool for assembly. All in all im very happy with it now, but I definitely won't be trying to move the expansion now that it's done as I doubt I'll ever be able to get it back. Great table but I'd suggest not getting the expandable model.
