Can't use as a shelf for more than a few ounces...

This looks heavier in picture than it really is. It is made of either extremely light pieces of wood or is what we used to call "particle board." (Not sure) It will definitely not hold anything more than a few ounces. We also needed to shim it to get it to hang straight. I would look for something more substantial...

Stunning in our kitchen!

These are thick, substantial floating shelves with a unique, artisanal/bespoke look. We replaced a cabinet with 2 of these shelves. The decorative carved pattern adds texture and interest plus the neutral grey/taupe wood color a perfect match for our grey and white kitchen.

Horrible construction

I bought three of these, one came completely cracked but it was not only due to poor shipping but the material is not sturdy, the wood is thin and cracks easily. Given that information, there is no way this shelf can hold much on the wall, the mount is not very sturdy and I gave up and returned all of them. Very much a decorative shelf and not meant to hold anything of value.
