Love this island!

This is a great piece. We’re in a crummy rental house for a year, with a tiny kitchen bereft of usable storage. I picked this one because it was black to match our appliances and had a wood top to almost match the cabinets. But more importantly, it had two drawers and wheels, unlike the ike vadholm island. That one has a better butcherblock top but no drawers and no wheels. Some people hack the vadholm to add wheels but I didn’t want to have to do that. My only complaint is the top - butcherblock that you could cut on with a knife would be better and an overhang for stools. If I use it in my next house, I’ll add a butcherblock top. I assembled it myself in less than an hour. I’m a 64yo woman and had no trouble, but I do have woodworking experience. All of the holes where predrilled correctly and all parts nicely finished.

We bought this kitchen cart for our youth building at church for additional counter space and storage for our new little kitchenette. It wasn’t too hard for me and my husband to put together. It’s sturdy, functional and so cute. Everybody loved it! It’s just right for the space we needed it for.

Great piece for the price. It looks as good in person as in the picture. Solid. Lots of room for work space on top and two shelves of items underneath. The two drawers are a bit short, but will fit silverware or pot holders.

We needed extra space in our long kitchen. We did a lot of comparisons and this one looked good and it was fairly narrow (which we needed). I put it together myself in about an hour. It really freed up our counter space and it looks great in our kitchen. We are very happy with it. It is definitely a good value for the price.

absolute junk

Less than 1 year in, wheels breaking off, shelve brackets falling out, and just doesn’t hold together. It was out together as securely as possible at the outset. But even then, screws for drawer handles broke because they were so CHEAPLY MADE. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Junk.

This is a fantastic piece! Very sturdy and beautifully made. The butcher block top is gorgeous! I was not expecting such a high end piece for such a reasonable price. Would buy it again. Highly recommend this kitchen cart!

Exactly what I was looking for. Only issue is the drawers do not pull out all the way. Fits right where I wanted it, feels sturdy enough to hold the things I need. Also assembled easily, looks great!

utilitarian and attractive

Liked this island; it fits well in my kitchen. Adjustable shelves are bonuses. Only negative is that the drawers don't have glides, so they're slightly unstable. But, it's workable since the drawers are small.

Nice looking, easy to assemble

I really like the ease of assembly but the center screw for attaching the top was miss drilled so that screw could not be attached and I’m having trouble getting the second drawer to align so it doesn’t work well. May call the service number if my boyfriend can’t fix it. Love how it looks and rolls easily. Perfect match with my cabinets. Nice strong hardware handles.

Using it as my coffee station and absolutely love it! It gave my kitchen that extra counter space that it needed and has made my kitchen feel so much bigger with it in there! (I decided not to put the wheels on because I won't be moving it around the kitchen.) 10/10 would purchase again :)

Perfect. I bought this for my new apartment and was pleasantly surprised. It was rather simple to put together, came with extra parts in case and looks exactly like the picture. It is sturdy and well-built. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that the drawers do not slide easily and one of them doesn't like to close unless I force it. I've checked everything and I haven't been able to figure it out, but i put the parts together correctly so I'm not quite sure what the issue is and it's minor enough that it was not worth it for me to deconstruct the island and ship it back.

Cart is an off white color, not a true, stark white. Was a bit of a pain to assemble. One of the pre-drilled holes did not line up correctly and couldn't be used, but it still seems sturdy enough. The slatted shelf came cracked on one corner, but still usable. Honestly not worth what I paid ($215).

Good quality piece

This comes in 2 boxes, the top in one and the rest in another. I put this together by myself in about 2 hours. I detracted 1 star because some of the pieces weren't labelled and only 2 of the wheels lock. If you're going to have the option to lock the wheels, give it to all of the wheels, not just half. I really like the top, it's nicer than some of the cheaper tops you see. You can't cut or prep directly on it, but it looks nice and is better quality. Overall this is a nice sturdy piece, pleasantly surprised by the price point.

good product for price

Very easy to put together if you read/follow the instructions. One person can do it. It took me about 1.45 hours. Draws are a little shallow and wheel locks are average. In other words, if you are doing any big cutting of food on the table top, there will be a bit of wobbling, but all in all, a good product for the price.

Great cart!

This cart was better than I thought it would be and I'm extremely pleased. It's very sturdy and looks great. The butcher block top is a good heavy piece of wood. I was really impressed when I took the pieces out of the box. They were wrapped well and had a good weight to them. I took my time putting it together and only had one problem. The holes in the drawers for the screws weren't drilled deep enough. I had to get my Dremel drill out but it only took a couple of minutes and then the screws went right in. The directions for these things are always a challenge but if you take your time and really look at the pictures you should be able to figure it out. I would buy another Crosley product...good price and well made.

A few manufacturing flaws.

Actually, I really like this. I downgraded the rating because of the manufacturing flaws. There are 5 cam bolts to hold down the top. Only 2 of them would fit into the cam nuts. it is like the holes for the cam nuts were too low so I had to just take the cam bolts out and use L brackets on the side. Then the shelf had a manufacturing flow in one corner where it looked like some machine had tried to drive two wooden dowels in where only one belonged. Again, L bracket rescue. The cost and trouble to take it apart and ship it back wasn't worth it. With my repairs, I really like this cart and it was the perfect size for my kitchen. Would only recommend this to someone who has the knack for repairs.

Love it!

I love the kitchen island! I have been looking fora narrow one for my long but narrow kitchen. This one fits perfectly. The colors are neutral, and the natural countertop is just right for me. I didn't install the wheels, and the height came up perfectly for me (I am 5"1"), slightly lower than my regular counters. .Assembly was pretty starightforward (like Ikea). There was one spot on one leg where the wood was splintered, but easily sanded down.

Perfect kitchen island

Purchased the island for an apartment. Having the drawers, shelves and towel rack is a blessing when storage is at a premium. Assembly was straight forward. I had just a bit of problem with inserting one of the drawers.
