A little unhappy
The door did not have all of the screws installed and the top of the door wasn't fastened and has to be glued in place. The piece that was used to protect the glass wasn't installed inside the door so I don't know why the top of the door was not installed properly. Packaging was very good and it arrived in good condition except for the problems noted
Very thin wood
Chipped easily, I was surprised when I chunk chipped out before I even hung it ;(
The display case was acceptable. Nothing outstanding; nothing I would buy again.
Love it! Was just right for my small & fragile knick knacks. Keeps them dust-free, too. I’m using it on top of a table instead of attaching it to a wall.

Well made for the price
It is shipped in a reinforced box to protect it, and it looks just like the picture. The case is lightweight but not flimsy. It looks pretty good to me. The wood does not appear to have a finish on it, so you could easily stain or paint it if desired. I use as. It comes with mounting hardware that is just like hanging a picture. I chose to mount it more securely but drilling a couple holes in the back so screws were firmly holding the wood. It worked great. And a great price!

This is much nicer than expected. My mini bear collection has a home! I had planned to have my husband build a box but this item is so modestly priced and well-crafted I took advantage of Overstock’s sale price instead. The shadow box is heavy with a clasp that assures nothing will fall out.

Well built display case w/lock!
Great trinket case for the price, cheaper than anything in stores or on Amazon. Well built - even comes with a lock! If it came in white, I would give it 5 stars, but easy enough to paint. Packaged well which is difficult to do with a glass door. Very happy with this purchase.
I really love this little shelf display case it was a great purchase and I would recommend it. The shelves are deep, it hangs nice and it's will protect its contents. I use it for all my little antique bottles works perfect!!

Better than I expected...
I have to admit I didn't have high expectations on this item, but simply wanted a way to store some meaningful Knick knacks. The price was good and it served the intended purpose, so I bought it. I was very pleased with what arrived! The thing is solid wood, and the finish was very unique and pretty. You won't be disappointed with this shadow box
