Sheds Fiber All over

This rug is advertized as outdoor. I used it on my deck but after it got rained on and dried, the fibers of the rugs began to flack off and be tracked around the deck. When it rained again, the fibers would splash around the deck and onto the bottom of furniture. It is total unsatisfactory. Home Depot would not allow me to return it because it was 50 days since it was delivered. Their policy was 30 days. They wanted me to make a warranty claim with Safavieh. Not worth the effort, Do not buy this product. All the rugs will have the same problem.

I first purchased this runner in 2014 (so why did it take me so long to write a review, I have no idea; guess I needed to really live with the product before I reviewed it). But I really love this runner. It is extremely durable. Hose it down or throw it in the washing machine and it comes out looking brand new. I use my at the front door entry and after I wash it still comes out looking brand new. I will be purchasing another one soon.

Safavieh rug for a classy and comfy front porch.

My search for an indoor-outdoor carpet began with going to the Lowe's store in our area. The design choices were very nice and I chose one that I liked best. Unfortunately there was only one carpet in stock and I needed to purchase two. The store clerk could not guarantee that more would be coming in, and suggested that I go on-line to make my purchase. I could see for myself in the store, the quality of the carpets were excellent. The selection on-line was much larger, and the charts for sizes and prices were easy to follow. Because the porch space is long and narrow, I ordered two rugs plus a small matching carpet for the front door. The order was shipped to my door within 10 days, and there were no shipping fees. The Safavieh rug design is a clean deep black with a beige crisscross pattern that has a natural golden tone. The pattern is a lovely compliment to the fabric of the cushions on my wicker furniture. The front porch has become another room, and now has a warm welcome feeling. We are a retired couple and spend much of our time at home. We now have a very classy and comfy spot for our morning coffee and a sip of wine before dinner.
