I would agree with the other reviewer only in that the rug does have a darker appearance (although not quite as dark as the photo indicates). That's because the material its made of has a darkish brown weaved into the lighter color. Although I didn't expect that, I am delighted with the rug. The size (8' round) is accurate, and I must say it is of high quality all around (the brand is very good). It looks great with the round table on my patio -- much better than a rectangular rug would have. It looks great with my dark brown outdoor wicker, too. So I am most definitely keeping this rug, and I am very pleased with this purchase all-around!
