Colors of comforter are as pictured. Sizing is good. Fabric does feel quite stiff for a comforter. Out of the packaging there was quite a strong fabric sizingchemical odor to the comforter. Washed,dried and aired out for several days, odor is now almost gone, and I feel I can now put it on a bed.

Comfy and warm for the winter

This is a great comforter and sham set. I love how it looks especially at Christmas time. It's a beautiful plaid and the fabric is cozy.

I had previously ordered comforter in twin size and absolutely loved it so when we put another bed in guest room ordered second quilt in the full size. Fabric is nothing the same. Not soft at all even though same comforter and listed as 100% cotton.

It looks beautiful. However, when I washed it exactly as the directions said the filling started to come out. So, now the filling comes out when you just run your hand across it. I do like it but I just don’t really see it lasting for very long. Good for maybe a guest rooms that is rarely used.

Colors were far different than pictured. Not quite as thick as I would have thought. I'm usually happy with Eddie Bauer products, would not purchase another bedding set from them again.

great comforter ! I was skeptical because some review photos made it look wrinkly and not great . In person it is smooth and beautiful. It was cheaper than anything at Marshall"s or TJ MAXX...it is almost imposssible to find a cotton comforter but this one is cotton.

This comforter set was beautiful. The price was a little higher than I wanted to spend at the time but I’m glad I went for it. It allows you to reverse the comforter and get a whole different look. Wonderful for the holidays and will be used in my mountain home.

King size comforter

This comforter feels absolutely fantastic. I bought one for my brother for Christmas and liked it so much I bought one for me. It comes in a vacuum packed bag but don't let that fool you it seems very thin when you first take it out. Give it two or three days and it puffs up nicely.

Absolutely LOVE IT!!

Absolutely gorgeous. I have been looking for the 'perfect' comforter for the past few years which wouldn't clash with the colors, style and art work in our bedroom. I saw this and immediately knew it was 'the one'. It pulls all the colors in the room together and the design doesn't compete with our Tiffany style lamps. To top it off, it's by Eddie Bauer so I knew the quality would be top notch. The stitching, the weight and quality are everything I would have expected and it's reversible.

the perfect comforter for cozy winters

this is GORGEOUS ! I have been waiting for this comforter to come back in stock and finally I got it. the reverse plaid is so gorgeous. the weight is a perfect weight for winter... it's not thin at all. I've read so many things about "scratchy" fabric. I disagree. the fabric is thick, which I actually love because it feels like it's going to hold up. I have another Eddie Bauer comforter....we don't wash them in the machine, we take them to the dry cleaner so they stay nice.... they dry clean beautifully.

Colors are very vibrant and the comforter is well made. Nice weight and just the right amount of inside stuffing for a nice look and feel. Not too hot so should be comfortable year round with a blanket for cold winter nights. Durability is proven over time but the fabric feels like it will hold up nicely over time. Overall when considering the price, a great bargain.

Loves it. Thick and warm but not suffocating. Also a nice weight to it. Colors are also very nice. Very autumnal and forest-like.

Absolutely love this comforter set. We bought it for our 8 year old son. It is a little rough feeling but he sleeps with a sheet so it shouldn’t be a problem. It’s super warm and comfortable. Would recommend!

3 months and destroyed

I loved this comforter when it first arrived, very warm and cozy. 3 months later and it's ripping everywhere, the color faded. It's been through the washer 3 times (tumble dry low per the instructions). Tried to return it to Home Depot and they said I needed to take it to Eddie Bauer. Eddie Bauer says I need to return it to the retailer.

Great comforter set

It’s adorable. Good sized. Great quality. Due to its barker colors it does pick up light lint colors though. Just an fyi.

If you love tartan plaid, you will love this set done in black watch plaid and another plaid on back side. I paired with white linens. Comforter is nice and light but quite puffy. Don’t know how it will wash. I love it!

It’s super cozy, but did not hold up past two washes. Upon wash two, there was a giant, gaping hole and several smaller holes throughout - I’ve honestly never seen another blanket fall apart like this. It was a Christmas gift that saw maybe a month of use, and now it’s mostly unusable. It’s a shame because we loved it, but I absolutely cannot recommend this blanket.

I searched for months to find the right comforter. Checked every review. Read the description over and over. Then I finally said what the heck just buy it, I can always return it if I dont like it. When it finally showed up at my door, I was so excited. The moment I opened it, I knew it was perfect. I had the best nights sleep. It was a cool night and it kept me nice and comfortable. Not to hot, and not to cold. It was so worth the price. Im very happy with my new comforter.

Almost perfect

I ordered this for my guest room to do a Scottish theme. I liked that it is reversible with another tartan type plaid. The description said blue and green plaid so I expected navy as it looked dark. Upon receipt, I can find no blue. It is actually black and green. It is still pretty but did not fit the color scheme of navy and green. It is thick and well made. Seems to be very warm so I will keep it and use it as an extra.
