Love the size

The size is great for my big bags of cat food. I do wish mine came with wheels as shown in picture. I would be able to wheel to door and feed outside cats. I make do and still like it. I’ll have to check on the wheels. But I put 40 lb bag in it just fine.

Love this container

First one had a manufacturing flaw. A large hole. But chewy made it right and sent a new one. I love this for their food. I mix a hairball formula with regular food. Works well and has a seal to keep the food fresh.

Flawed design

I've had plenty of food storage containers over many years of having dogs & cats, and this one is very flawed because the lid does not stay open in any position. You must hold it open or the hinges will close it. If I had a third hand...no problem, but I'm scooping with one hand into to bowl that I'm holding with my second hand. I should have returned it.

Perfect food container!

I bought 4 of these containers! Two are for my dogs. One is a puppy so she has different food than my older guy. The other two I’m using in my craft room! I love the wheels! They make moving heavy loads a breeze.

My Favorite

Please don't quit selling this. I can't find it locally and it is the best and most durable food container I have. I have three of them, the oldest of which is close to 10 years old now, and it is still just as good as when I bought it. It is also perfect for bird seed. My favorite container by far.

great storage but missing wheels

Love the size, the snap top and rectangular shape. It holds a large bag of dog food, which is what I was looking for. My Previous container was similar but raised so far off the ground that a mistaken drop of the dog food bag resulted in cracking the bottom. This one has thicken plastic and firmer base.

I absolutely love this. I buy 40 lb bags of food from Costco for my new puppy. They were sitting in my kitchen I didn't know what to do with them. They were very bulky not thin enough to go behind my couch like the rest of my dog food. I measured behind my couch if it's sleekly behind there it has wheels for rolling it out and filling it. I love it.

So much better than keeping food in the bag

We used to store our dog food bags in a closet. It was a hassle to lug it out (40 pounds when new) and the lip of the bag usually caused a few pieces to spill on the floor. We love the large opening to scoop out kibble and the ability to roll the container out of the closet. Our dog eats anything, but I have a feeling that he prefers food kept in an airtight container.

Really nice mobile storage container. I use this for my cat litter which is very heavy. This container is easy to move to where I have the litter box is located - much easier than trying to lift the heavy bag or to move the heavy litter box. Of course, this would be equally as useful for pet food.

Absolutely perfect for large bags of bird seed. Durable, east to maneuver, lock tight seal. So no more worries with unwanted rice weevils. Should you ever experience that horrible encounter as we once did. We can store our birdseed inside our home now. We love it!

Not good quality

I used to love these Iris WeatherPro airtight storage bins. However, they are not made with the care and quality that they used to be. The wheels are cheap and do not roll like the older versions. The lid does not close properly and, in a matter of days, the hinges in the back snapped making the lid unable to close properly. Poor quality in my opinion and such a shame. I will not be buying this again.

quite disappointed

We buy dog food in a 35 pound bag and this container said it would hold up to 37 pounds but I have about 5 pounds of food that wouldn’t fit!

Quality rolling container

This is a nice, sturdy rolling container. I use it for cat litter so I know it can hold at least 40 lbs. The wheels seem sturdy enough that it should hold up well, and the seal on the lid is good. My only complaint is that the lid doesn't flip all the way down when it is open, it stops at an angle, which just seems odd. My other ones (by the same company but different models) the lid flips down to hang parallel to the sides when fully open. It's a very minor complaint though, and I would recommend this as long as you don't mind the lid not flipping fully out of the way.

Good for the price

I bought two 47 quart storage containers for two different types of dog food. The 47 quart holds an entire bag of Purina Pro Plan Puppy (dry food, 34 lb bag) with a small bit of room at the top. The same container doesn’t hold Purina Pro Plan Adult Shredded (35 lb bag) with a few meals excluded. I’m assuming because the pieces are bigger. Overall, it holds the food, the wheels are sturdy, and it’s easy to dissemble the lid and clean. I like the slim design because I can fit both containers in our thin pantry and take them out easily without any rearranging or bumping the molding.
