Basketweave, Metallic Lace & Bamboo

Beautiful. Basketweave Latte, Bamboo Moonlight, & Metallic Lace Silver. These placemats are so nice we have bought several styles and colors in rectangle, round and oval. We now have a selection of for everyday and holidays. They store smaller and clean up easier than our bulky cloth placemats that shrink when washed.

I love the shape and the color! These are super easy to clean off which is so nice especially if you have young children like myself. We have really loved these so much. Great size and I look forward to having them last a long time.

Wear tough placemats

Yes they are expensive but worth every dollar. Chilewich placemats look terrific and last forever. They work well for everyday use and clean up easily. I have then in multiple shades and appreciate the round ones for the kitchen table.

Pop of Red in the Perfect Size

I love Chilewich products. I have their floor mats, runners, and placemats. These small, round mats are the perfect size for my 35" Tulip Table. It's really hard to find mats that work with this smaller round table, and these are great. I love the red. It complements the white table without screaming RED!

Fabulous product!!!

Looks great on the table; like woven cloth. Easy to wipe off and if more soiled you can just wash it with soap and water in the sink. DURABLE!!! Have used this brand for years and they hold up for a very long time!!!

Beautiful placemats

These placemats are beautiful. The round shape makes them even more unique. My husband had one complaint about them sliding around on the table, but I haven't really noticed it. I would recommend them. In fact I already gave my friend a send for her new house.

Not Worth It

Definitely not what I expected for the price. They so are so lightweight and thin and honestly kind of flimsy looking. Not sure if I will be keeping these or returning. The only positives are the color (I got carbon) and they seem easy to keep clean since they are wipeable.

Chilewich round placemats

This is the best brand of placemats. I’ve purchased cheaper alternatives and they fray at the edges. They’re sturdy and attractive. I have a small oval breakfast table and the round placemats fit perfectly - smaller than the square placemats.

This is my third set of Chilewich placemats. These and the others I own work great for casual dining and entertaining. They are beautiful, extremely durable, and easy to clean. They last for years!

Love these Placemats!

They are the perfect size, not too big as many round placemats but w/plenty of space for plate, cutlery. Very durable, wipe clean easily and look like woven fabric, matching our woven chair fabric and looking very chic. They are also compact so fit in a drawer and take up very little space. Would definitely buy again.

This is the second time

This is the second time I bought both a runner and place mats. The original ones which I've had for years have maintained their original shape and color. I just wanted to get new ones.

Just What I Was Looking For!

Love the generous oval design of these basketweave placemats! These spacious mats easily accomodate a single place setting along with flatware and drinking glasses. They look nice and are easy to care for, plus I was able to find them in the perfect navy blue color for my environment. Five stars!

Durable everyday placemats

We have an awkward shaped table (elongated oval) and needed round black everyday mats to fit. These are crisp-looking, durable, and easy to clean. This is our second set of Chilewich mats and our others have lasted many years and still look new. Quality product.

Hansome but Impractical

Although I like the look of these placemats, they are somewhat impractical beyond visual as they don't really protect a table from spills or crumbs. They are porous so a spill isn't absorbed and crumbs go right through. A cloth placemat at least will catch debris and absorb some liquid, thus the main purpose of a placemat. I suppose providing visually pleasing heat protection is their value??

Small for the Money

I've been buying this brand placemats for years. I wanted round ones this time for my new round table. They appear to be quite small when you add a napkin, plate and utensils. My others have been thicker and these appear not as hefty as my older ones. I guess when you spend this kind of money you expect quality, however, I am a little disappointed but kept them anyway.
