Perfect addition to add youth to traditional home

This rug is exactly what I needed in my front hallway. It gives a younger look in a very traditional space. It cleans easy and is soft under the feet.

As expected - Happy with our purchase.

The rug's color closely matched the depiction online, adding a cohesive touch to my room's decor. Its soft texture provides a comfortable surface to walk on barefoot, enhancing the overall coziness of the space. However, I noticed that the edges tend to crease upwards easily, especially when brushed by a door, requiring occasional readjustment to maintain a smooth appearance. Despite this minor issue, the rug remains a delightful addition to my home, offering both style and comfort.

This is a towel, not a rug

Extremely disappointed by the quality of this 'rug'. It's paper thin, and it bunches around just by walking on it. It's impossible to roll around with my.office chair. It's more comparable to a beach towel than an actual rug.

Great runners

We used this rug for a DIY stair runner project and it worked perfectly. The rugs are really thin and a slightly looser weave, which was what we needed. The color and pattern are very classic and the rugs shipped super fast!

Not durable

The rug is woven, so the blue lines snag super easily regardless of how careful you are. It looks good on the floor and just as pictured, however I don’t think it’ll last for more than a year before looking terrible. We already have five snags where the blue strings have looped out and are just hanging loose. Careful and did not use the roller with the vacuum, still this result.

Not good with pets. Looks pretty yho

Great pattern and color, just grays super easy. I have two dogs, and when they took around on this rug they pull the herringbone threads so easily. Now the pops are coming out all over. Maybe good if you don’t have animals?

Snags everywhere

Within a day this carpet started snagging with very little use. It has only been two months after laying it down and I am already replacing it. It was also just way too thin to be sold in a 10x14 size. Its impossible to vacuumed or clean without it getting sucked up or snagging more. This is now the second rug that I bought from Rugs USA that was really poor quality. I have been happy with two other rugs so I know they do have good products but I wish I could trust their quality control. It makes it harder for me to buy from them in the future.

Threw it away after 3 years... eyesore of a carpet

My friend bought this carpet and didn't have any problems with it. But we used this rug as a dining room rug and it was such a hot mess so early on. We have a cute little dog that never claws at anything but it snagged so easily. I'm wondering if the tennis ball was thrown onto the rug and the dog's claws (& dogs we would dogs from time to time) majorly snagged different parts of the rug. It was irreparable! We just ended up throwing it away because it looked so bad. Oh and the next worst part was that we couldn't vacuum it. It would get stuck...it was weird. So it got gross.

Snags VERY easily.

This rug is very pretty and looks great in our living room. I wish I could give it a better rating. The rug is very thin and snags very easily. We don’t have any children in the home but have 1 dog. He is regularly groomed and does not have long nails, but still manages to snag the rug causing it to fray. This is a testament to the poor quality and craftsmanship of the rug. If you have children or pets, I would not recommend investing in this rug.

smaller sizes machine washable if you're careful

This rug is really pretty, and it stays put really well on tile with a rubber style (no holes) rug pag. I bought this because we needed a too-big rug at our back door to catch damp shoes and grassy puppy dog.To that end, it got really flattened and dirty really quickly. I threw it in my washing machine on cold and it cleaned perfectly (I got the 4'x6', and have a washing machine without agitator). It shrank about 2 inches all around, but I sort of expected that. The colors did not bleed at all. I don't expect it to last forever; just for a few years of foot traffic-- it's perfect!

looks great but doesnt last

Bought under three months ago, have it under our dining room table. Love the look and the dog loves to lay on it, but the weave snags very easily, so I would avoid if you have any clawed members of the family and/or want to use it in a high-traffic area. We now have loops all over the place, which i could have dealt with except our dog realized he could pull them even further and chew on them, so now we have several patches of no-blue. It is also very hard to vacuum and gets pulled up into it if you're not holding it taught. We're planning to find a move this upstairs to our bedroom where guests wont see it.

Wanted to love

I've had this rug about a year. When it first came it was a little surprised at the boldness of the blue. In the picture it looks so blend. It also made me dizzy. But I ended up getting used to it and loved it for a few months. But it's so thin the end ge always get kicked around. I tried a pad, and even those corner sticks but since it's so thin they don't last long. And then as it's worn some of the string have separated. I wish I lasted more than a year but it's time for a new rug. It now looks a little dingy and I can no longer stand it always moving

Wish there weren't so many pulls

Bought this rug (9x12) a year and a half ago. Let me preface by saying it is a really nice rug. The blue/navy is more like a dark cobalt and looks really nice on our dark brown hardwood floors. But the problem with the rug made itself clear within a month of having it: random thread pulls. Blue loops of thread have come up each time we vacuum. We even stopped vacuuming with the rotating brush and we still have pulls. We're going to have to replace this rug soon because it looks terrible. Wish we could've gotten more life out of the rug for the price.

Snags Everywhere on day 1

This rug, purchased at 50% off on a presidents dat sale, is a great price for a great pattern and soft rug, but unfortunately it doesn't stand up to the slightest wear. We received this rug yesterday and rolled it out around 6pm and it had no snags. By 8pm, it had at least 5 and I've attached a photo of what it looks like this morning. This is in our dining room, a low-traffic area, but we have a large dog (lab) who roams the house and must have snagged it all over simply by walking across it. A simple tug of the finger can easily loosen the weave with little to no effort.

This is a beautiful rug.

This is a beautiful rug. I have it in my living room which is a high traffic area. I have it without the pad on my hardwood floor and I enjoy it, but there is definitely no cusion. It stays in place pretty well with my couch and ottoman sitting on top. I have a small dog and his claws have been catching on the threads and pulling them out, but not as bad as I thought it would be. I can tell in a few months it will probably look a little more wethered than I would like. The price was a steal for how huge it is, the texture is comfy on my feet, and it pulls the room together. Overall I am happy with my purchase. I'm giving it for stars only because it's not very pet friendly, other than that it's a great rug!

Nice simple rug

Nice cotton rug. If you are placing on wood floors, you will need an anti slip pad underneath. Colors are accurately reflected in the photos. I purchased a 5x8 blue rug for the bedroom, at the foot of the bed. I was considering this rug for the living room. I am glad I did NOT buy a bigger version. The pattern is a bit crazy; having the blue pattern in the living room would probably be a bit too much (it's a bit dizzying if you look at it for awhile). Four stars because there were some loose threads. Also, there was NO smell when the rug arrived (one good reason to go with cotton and natural fibers).

Thin, Loose and Fragile Area Rug

We recently purchased a 9x12 version of this rug for our main living area and were initially struck by the lack structure of the rug. We were aware of how thin the rug would be from the specs, but it lacks any rigidity or weight. It resembles the looseness and lightness of a thin blanket more so than a rug. It did not lay flat at all on our hardware, constantly bulging up when walked on. Not until we purchased a quarter-inch composite rug pad did we get the rug to lay nicely on the floor. Additionally, within our first week of use, threads from the rug began looping up and rising out of the surface to our disappointment. The rug is very sloppy-looking now and we will be replacing it soon.

Chalet CO4 Herringbone Cotton Flatwoven Rug

This rug is beautiful and I love the look. However, it came with several snags in the weave straight out of the bag. I tried to exchange it for another, hoping that maybe I just got a bad one, but rugsusa does not do exchanges. You have to send it back and totally reorder the item. Of course, they were already sold out of the 9x12. I ended up just keeping it. We've had it down for about 2 weeks now and it looks very worn. It looks like it has had about a years worth of wear on it already. It's in our living room, which is high traffic. I would probably only recommend this for a room that doesn't see much foot wear...and definitely not for younger children or a family with any size dog. Ultimately I only kept it because it was a great price for a 9x12 and I could justify replacing it after a year or so. I do love the design, I just wish it was higher quality. It would have been a major disappointment if I had paid full price.
