Excellent slow-feeding system

This bowl is fantastic...period!! Slows them down and because of that, it keeps them from the risk of developing bloat and from breathing in their food from gulping it down all at once. It has other cool features, but those I mentioned are the meat of them...no pun intended. Lol

Food Time Game Changer

I was dividing my 2 pups food into four small servings at a time to keep them from choking and inhaling their food. These Neater Pets bowls allow me to put their whole portion down at one time and not worry they will inhale it up their noses in their excitement over eating. Game changer! Very easy to clean because of the two part system, a great height for my small Jack Russel/Chihuahua boys, PLUS it is made in America so no worries about the quality and safety of the material it is made from. Super pleased with this product!

Perfect for our big boy.

Beaujack takes his time and eats really nice with this bowl and chews his food!!! His first bowl sat on the floor and he didn’t seem as comfortable with it not being elevated even though it too was a good slow feeder. He isn’t very tall but still the bowl being elevated is much safer for him and any deep chested dog would benefit from it.

Not sure about this one

When I received this dish, it was a lot larger than I expected. I am using the water bowl portion and find I don’t have to fill it as often. Unfortunately, there was only one set of legs to make the dish higher and it’s only higher by 3 inches, which is not very much. I am disappointed and have continued to use another slow feeder for his dog food. But only having one set of legs does not help.

Great slow feeder

My giant puppy hoovers his food and ends up choking then vomiting up his food because he eats too fast. I’ve tried 2 other slow feeders and he didn’t like them and refused to eat from them. This system has slowed him down and is comfortable enough that he will eat from it. I also love that it comes with legs to raise the bowl up for taller dogs. I probably should have gotten a size up, but this should last for years to come.

Raised slow feeder, vanilla bean.

Love it. This is my second raised slow feeder. My cats tend to eat less and slower. Hardly ever throw ups like before. I highly recommend the raised slow feeders, very nice colors and high quality material. Would purchase again. Thanks. Ckw, very satisfied customer.

Wish there were more options for metal bowls.

In January 2021 I purchased a raised slow feeder for my bulldog. This is the only bowl I have found that slows my bulldog down when eating. I have tried other bowls that didn’t work because she couldn’t get the food out with her face shape (she does have more nose than most bulldogs, but her nose is wide). I have tried feeder balls, but that didn’t slow her eating down and the metal bowl slow feeder didn’t work either. I wish this style was as a viable in a metal or non chewable material. Even at 8 years old my dog is a big chewer. She always has chew items available but if she thinks she isn’t getting enough attention or wants more food she’ll go after items she knows shouldn’t be chewed on. Her food bowl has become one of her favorite objects to target. The bowl is now about 15 months old and I am going to have to replace it in the near future because she chewed it up pretty bad. I really like to have a bowl I don’t have to constantly keep on the cupboard or replace yearly.

We love it Bitsey hates it… kind of.

I have three dogs. Two are smaller older (Pug, 8 and A Russel Terrier, 16) and I have a newer addiction (Husky, 10 months). All love eating but the pug gets down a little more than the rest of our little pact. Bitsey (the pug) is her name and she may be small but her appetite is quite the opposite. She’s known to literally swallow bites whole regardless of someone cutting her food, mixing it with wet food, nothing. She’ll eat so fast even to finish her food just to go to see if she can steal from the others bowels. Since using this Neater feeder things aren’t perfect but almost. She’s slow down tremendously. Her food portion fits perfect and I could add if needed. I adore the regular bowl to. We purchased the green lick pad for it and now she has an easier time to eat her more liquidity vices. I know this is just another dog bowl but I’m pretty into it. It’s easy to put together and keep clean. We even got a spare regular bowl and have been using it for Happy (Russel Terrier). She’s so old that the flatter but wider bowl is just what she needed to keep her meal in one place. Idk how to really explain it but this has made my house a nicer place at breakfast and dinner times.

Great slow feeder

This is the best slow feeder we’ve tried for our one year old Shih Tzu puppy Teddy. The height is adjustable which I find awesome and it works very well for Teddy. It reminds me of a egg crate the spaces that the food goes into. I was concerned about Teddy being able to get his flat little face in the feeder far enough to get the food but it works like a charm. Yes it’s big but I like how much it spaces the food out, it really slows him down during his meals which was our goal. Great buy and we’re really happy with our purchase. My special needs dog injured her back and was facing the possibility of having to use a 'doggie wheelchair' if she didn't heal. I got her a double diner slow feeder to slow her eating down. It's height, the top of the frame is the same height as her shoulder is. Since she isn't a taller dog, she can't reach the far side of the dish, so I use only the front half of the bowl. I think it has helped her healing and she's eating alot sliwer, even leaving a bit for a night-time snack. Her face is flat, but the egg carton size would be goose eggs, not chicken. The highest part, the points between each cup, are about 3" apart, about 1.5" deep. Flat faced dogs wouldn't have any trouble eating from one.

Doesn't live up to the name

(bought direct from neaterpets) I used to use the normal neaterfeeder which was GREAT for my cats who are very messy eaters. But they developed the habit of wolfing their food down then bringing it back up. On that score, this works REALLY well, I've had far less cat puke to deal with since getting it. However.....

It’s okay!

The idea of if is awesome because we now don’t need two separate sets of bowls, but when it arrived we didn’t get the correct size legs for it to be elevated up. They were too small to fit and even the rubber things on the bottom that cause it to not skid wouldn’t fit so I knew it was for a smaller size bowl set. I like that the bowls are together and they are HUGE. I have a golden retriever that’s 65 pounds with plenty of time and room to grow so he will need it! I also don’t like that they are plastic, I wish that they were made of something more durable because he does paw at them and spill them and chew them, being a puppy. Great idea, just needs a little work on my opinion! I also gave up on the legs because we tried for a night and they didn’t fit at all so I tossed them and just have the feeder on the floor and it works fine.
