Excellent Feeder For Crazy Puppy!

I had to buy one immediately for my insane German shepherd puppy! He gets so excited when it’s time to eat and always wanted to step in his water dish and play. This was excellent for helping with that. He did somehow make a huge mess the first day but hasn’t since. I am so thankful for this feeder. It has saved the day in that department.

Now I have clean floors!

This was a great solution to my messy floors. Every day either my dog or my kids would step into the dog food/dog water bowl and spill it all over the floor. No more accidents or messy floors now that I have this neater feeder. It was also 15$ cheaper buying it from chewy than any other retailer. I'm so happy with it. The dog seems to like it too.

Much Less Mess

Got this as a gift for a family member. Our young Viszla is new to the household and is a very sloppy drinker. He has a habit of leaving large puddles and splash marks, and even tipping his water bowl, emptying the contents everywhere. Our old set up was a simple tray on the ground, which didn't help prevent these issues and kept getting water trapped beneath it, which was just not good. I started looking for elevated feeders and this one stood out. After using it with Pippin for a while now, I am happy to say it was a great gift and has greatly reduced the amount of water ending up outside the bowl. It has a resovoir under the bowls to catch spills (with holes too small for his kibble to fall through) and the splash guard helps immensely. I was surprised by how easy to clean the water resovoir was as well. It seems that a good amount of the water is able to evaporate. The bowls are also pretty similar to the standard metal bowls we have always used, but the water bowl is a good deal deeper which is a great touch. The feeder isn't particularly aesthetically appealing, which is one critcism I heard from the gift recipient. However, the feeder has a smaller footprint than expected, maximizes the space it does take up, and the color is a bit less shiny and saturated than it seemed looking at the pictures. So far it is working great.
