Slow feeder

It doesn’t fit in the needed feeder that I bought, so I had to buy up size…which is fine, but it’s not secure in the other feeder and he can pick the dish up and toss it around the kitchen. Also, the 4 dips and around the side doesn’t seem to really mix it up or slow him down at all.

These are perfect! They fit in the feeder snuggly and the dogs are eating slower.

It works

It certainly works for its purpose. Fairly easy to clean, which is nice. It fits perfectly in the Neater Feeder. The middle raised section is great, but the outside is a bit deep, which makes it tough for my pup to get all his kibble bits. It does slow him down eating though, which is the intended use. Very sturdy and quality.

Good Quality

This slow feeder bowl is of superior quality. It was my mistake by not reading the description better; it does not fit in my extra-large Neater Feeder. I was going to return it however, there is a restocking fee. which was almost half the price. So now, I have a bowl I can't use.

My lab eats like she’s starving at every meal. This helps spread out the kibble so she isn’t finished in 10 seconds!

Slow Feeder

I purchased this slow feeder because we already owned the set from years back. I had bought a floor slow maze style which worked well for my big German Shepard but I wasn’t crazy about it being placed on the mat and him leaning forward and low for his food so I was searching for one that would fit his original set up and found one that fits perfectly. This is smaller than his other one and isn’t the maze feature but this cone top style and size will do. The height is much better for the safe eating height for larger dogs so that’s Very important to me. Less chocking likely .the reason for this rating is the size of the bowl only, not that it doesn’t do it’s intended job.

Love it! It is the second one I have purchased and may get more for my other dogs. Cleans up easily and the height is perfect for large dogs.

Has helped our dog

Our 105 lb. Lab inhales his food and he drinks like a horse. The Niner Slow Feed Bowl has helped in getting him to slow down his eating. He went from devouring two cups of kibble in a minute to 4 - 1/2 minutes. I count that as a win. We bought a second bowl to try for his water and that has also helped. I have to be careful about filling it so the water doesn't splash out, but otherwise our dog has easily adjusted to his new bowls.

This slower feeder is exactly what my dog needed since she loves to eat! It fits the perfect amount of food and my dog doesn’t even mind I switched her to a slow feeder!

It slows my fast eater down, however the grooves are too deep for him to reach the kibble that is in the bottom of the pickets with his very short snout.

In theory this seemed like something I might try for my cat, however it was too large.
