I love it!

I find the Nesco Smart Canner so easy to use. I enjoy canning so I've been giving this canner a work out! It works great everytime. I think I want to buy another one and double my canning pleasure.

Happy with it

So far I've only used it to cook roasts, and it has worked well. I think the pressure valve is a little confusing...it moves around a lot even when it is "closed"...it took me a while to accept that it was closed when I wanted the pressure to build. But it works well, so I don't really have a problem with it. I haven't used it for canning yet, but the pressure seemed good when cooking, so it should work well. I like that it is electric and I don't have to try to regulate it on the stove top.

Perfect Canner

New to canning, I first purchased the Nesco 9.5 qt Digital Smart Canner in January 2024. I have only pressure canned with this product and have been very successful. So successful that this unit that I purchased from Kohl's is my third. Why 3, because it is so great to be able to do 12 quarts or 15 pints at the same time. I have not used the water bath canning feature or steam canning feature, yet. I will never use the pressure cooker feature because the liner is teflon instead of stainless steel, personal choice.

Love it

I have pressure canned for 25 to 30 years. We are now empty nesters and the smaller canner is perfect for most of my canning needs. I would recommend this for even first time canners.

This is the best little safest canner ever. I made jars and jars of vegetable beef soup. And turned out great.

Works well in my busy life!

I am a long time canner and did a lot of research before purchasing the Nesco Electric Smart Pressure Canner. I do have a big stove top canner that holds 7 quarts, but was looking for something that holds a smaller amount for smaller loads. I really like this Nesco canner!

Nesco Smart Canner

I have used all options along with the pressure canning and am satisfied with all outcomes. It is not complicated to use I highly recommend to anyone interested but hesitant about preserving/canning, this Nesco smart canner makes it easy.
