Budget-friendly and Curvilinear Chairs

These chairs are budget-friendly, durable, fairly easy to assemble, and curvilinear. They nicely complement my dark walnut dining table.

Love the Chairs!

These chairs are lovely. We find them comfortable, well made, and just perfect for our vintage mid century table. Just what we needed to make a perfect set!

Decent Buy

These chairs are great aesthetically and seem sturdy. The assembled was somewhat difficult as the screws are difficult to tighten. That being said, assembly took about 15-20 minutes a chair. All in all, if you like the way the pic looks buy them. They are as described.

Look nice but wobbly

Good looking chairs and appear to be good quality. They look more expensive than they are. Downside is there is the same exact wobble in each of our 4 chairs. It appears to be a defect in the way they are made since every single chair of the 4 is wobbling in the same way. The front right leg and back left leg are shorter than the other legs. It doesn't seem to be a problem when you're sitting in them.

The chairs are solid. A bit difficult to put together, but its worth it.we purchased two chairs for our desks, they fit perfectly and the Malaysian wood is just so strong.Definitely a great buy...

Trouble with assembly

So, I ordered two sets of these. The very first chair took a little more time than anticipated because the leg bolts are awkwardly situated making the use of the provided Allen key/wrench difficult. The second chair took me about 15-20 minutes to assemble. The second set is where I ran into problems. I spent over an hour trying to complete the instruction’s first step because the leg cross bars were either cut too long or more likely the sockets weren’t cut deep enough. I spent so much time on it because I wanted them to work and didn’t want to deal with the hassle of returning them and reordering another set. But that’s precisely what I did. Crossing my fingers that the next set is easier than the second pair. These are a good value, materials seem sturdy and the color is as shown. But the engineering could be better to allow for easier construction.

So. I've assembled lots and lots of furniture over the years. I've never encountered anything as maddening as these chairs. Honestly, I haven't cursed this much since November 8, 2016. There are many pieces, including dozens of screws, and many of the screws are hidden in cubby holes. Great for the overall look, but terrible for the Allen key, which as a result can only go about 1/4" per turn, requiring about 47,281 turns per screw. If you really need these chairs, I recommend hiring someone to put them together. And make sure you like that person--and maybe have a meal or two on hand: They're gonna be in your house for a while.

These chairs really exceeded my expectations. They feel solid and are comfortable to sit in. Very good quality for the price. The assembly could be a little easier, true, but still easier than assembling furniture from that famous Swedish store (you know who I mean). If you've ever suffered through that, these are a piece of cake.

1 out of 4 isn't a good ratio

First, I love the looks of these chairs but that is about it. I bought two sets of these chairs. Because of the angles of the joints, I spent a LOT of time with the Allen wrench putting the chairs together. One chair came out great. The other three have problems. The three each have one leg that is a different length and rock way too much. One of the same three has a seat that is so warped the screws don't reach the top of the legs. Too bad!

Great chairs, good quality, heavy, sturdy, and they will probably last. But be prepared to spend an hour on each to assemble - and that is with good tools. The last two are still in the box, waiting for a day when I'm feeling especially motivated.

High quality for low price

These solid wood chairs are super sturdy and the seat is a little wider than the average dining chair so its very comfortable. Assembly was a little lengthy but well worth it. The walnut color matched the Project 62 emmond dining table perfectly! would highly recommend paying a little more on these and getting great mid century design and good quality!

Beautiful, but hard to assemble

This makes me sad to write. When I unboxed the chairs, I was so excited because the quality is amazing. These look exactly like West Elm dining chairs but half the price. My husband and I spent an hour or more building 1 chair each. When we FINALLY finished and sat in them, they rocked back and forth. It was very frustrating because I spent a lot of time ensuring the legs were properly splayed while I built them. After the hour spent building, I spent an additional 30 mins trying to diminish the uneven rocking, but finally gave up. This is likely user error since I'm not a professional engineer or builder. I'm sure a handy person could figure out how to get the legs to be even. If you're handy, go for it. If you're not handy like myself, suck it up and buy the real deal.

Good Buy

These chairs are very nice. Simple and true to color shown. They fit comfortably under a 30" H desk. Very comfortable as well.
