Makes good ice but difficult to make adjustments. Owner’s manual not too helpful.

So far so good - It makes a lot of ice

You will get a bucket full of ice overnight, that is enough for a big party, and it will continue to produce more ice every 10 minutes. The installation instructions are very vague, you should know what you are doing, otherwise you need professional installation. Don't even waste your time calling NewAir, the customer service is not very knowledgeable. They lack the proper training on their products. They insist the product does not have a drain pump, when I can see it, and it works just fine

Bad Product do not buy

Our's went out after 4 months because the compressor went bad. Newair shipped us a new one and it stopped working after 4 months because the water pump stopped working. Newark was going to ship me a replacement pump and instructions but couldn't find the instructions so they decides to replace the whole unit again. I decided to return both to Lowes since I had 365 to return. by using the myLowes card. Easy return and got my money back. Now om to find a better brand/machine.

I want to like this machine, but I just can't. It's unbelievably loud and the ice cubes bridge before it fully freezes, so I have to chop them up everytime. I will be replacing this with another product.

Easy setup and works great no issues

Light and easy to set-up. Takes up very little room. Connects was a little tricky, didn't match up to my faucet. I use the old line tied into an in-line filter, then I use the line that was supplied.

Ice maker

This ice maker does in fact make plenty of ice, HOWEVER, it is the loudest machine I have ever heard!! I do not recommend this product unless you have it outside in the garage!!

Unfortunately the product was defective. The drain water leaked onto the floor. It initially produced nice ice relatively rapidly and then the unit quit working and the ice melted and water drained onto the floor.

Replaced Worn Out Kitchenaid Icemaker

My $3000 Kitchenaid was 8 years old and needed $1100 repair so tried the Newair under counter ice maker. Dimensions make it easier to self install, comes with drain pump, starts making ice in 15 min, does not have a built in water filter which I prefer, so I installed an inline water filter of my choice. A little noisier when it drops ice and the ventilation is better than the Kitchenaid. The more heat an ice maker creates the faster it makes ice. Recommend getting 3 yr warranty for icemakers.

So far so good. Makes a lot of ice and makes it pretty dang quick. 5 Stars there. Just the overall finish doesn't quite meet my standards. The stainless steel handle provided really doesn't match the stainless steel of the door. The ice maker makes some solid ice, which is great, but the plastic scoop provided is too flimsy to break it up to be able to put it into your cup. It's not super quite, but it also isn't super noisy if that makes sense. You can tell when it's running. We've been using it for about a month now and overall satisfied with it and it's production.

Door is not reversible yet it was 90% manufactured to be reversible. Can’t comment past that issue as it was returned.

I'd love to give this machine five stars. It works great and makes tons of ice, crystal clear. My only complaint is the thickness of the ice. It "bridges" before the ice is a complete cube. I have tried adjusting the time for dropping the ice, without any luck. my home is air conditioned to 70 degrees, and the water temp is at least that cool.

Makes ice quickly! Not too noisy. Very reasonably priced considering the competition.

Leaks!!!

I really wanted to like this icemaker. We had it installed for less than two weeks. About a week in it just stopped making ice. We disconnected it and restarted it and it started making ice again. So thst was good. BUT about a week after that it started leaking. It ended up warping alot of wood floors and cabinetry surrounding it. Creating thousands of dollars of damage. So learn from our mistake and dont buy this one!

A Dad's Life Saver For Kids on Summer Break

My kids go through SO MUCH ICE. Throughout the winter, our fridge's ice maker is able to keep up. Barely. By the end of the day it's empty, and we're just hoping it produces more ice overnight. At best, I get about 3 cubes each day. But in summer time, we are toast. Literally. It's hot outside, and then we're out of ice by mid morning. But that all changed with, NewAir's Industrial Grade Clear Cube Ice Maker. We have more ice than we can imagine, and we love it. AND...this machine is just beautiful...
