The item meets my needs. I researched the item category before my purchase, hence I knew what I was purchasing. I was most impressed with the packaging that prevented damage to this item. It is heavy and has a glass door, so proper packaging is critical. I have had to deal with damaged items in the past.

[Rewarded Review] Serviceable wine fridge

I am pleased with the size and the overall look of the unit where I have it placed. I did experience a couple of things when I first received it. The interior light wouldn't come on and the temperature controls would not adjust. I contacted New Air customer support and they were prompt with their response and diagnosis. However, it's a bit of a pain - the controls need to be 'reset' when this happens by simultaneously pushing two of the buttons for several seconds. While the fix works, it is not permanent. Each time I want to turn on the light or adjust the temperature I have to perform the reset. It's easy enough to do, but if I have a guest or visitor who doesn't know this little oddity, I could see that being an issue. Also, it's supposed to be a 43-bottle fridge, but my maximum appears as it will be 35 IF I have all skinny bottles. The traditional bell-shaped red wine bottle will reduce that number. Overall for the price a decent choice.

I ordered this Newair wine fridge thru Lowes. Upon opening the box there was damage in four areas due to shipping in transit to Lowes. I contacted Newair and their customer service was awesome. Newair shipped the replacement 2nd day air, The unit has been operating for 2 weeks and we are very happy with it. Lowes and Newair were both excellent with their customer service. One caveat, however, is that the fridge holds 36 normal bottles of wine not 43. I took that into consideration when ordering the 43 bottle size fridge. It is very quiet running. If you follow the instructions it is very easy to set up and set the temperatures.

I asked for the wine cooler to be delivered and installed. Best Buy said free installation was no problem. The old one wine & soda cooler would be hauled out Instead the wine cooler was delivered by UPS not Best Buy. Best Buy did not install nor hall out old cooler and could not do it. I notified them to pick up the new wine cooler and refund my purchase. The wine cooler was free standing. Instead I bought a wine cooler free standing at Home Depot and it was delivered and installed and haul the old one away.

This wine refrigerator is wonderful! Perfect size and love the blue LED lights. I have always just stored wine bottles in a regular refrigerator. Little did I know that was too cold of an environment and hindered the taste of the wine. This wine refrigerator keeps both white and red wine at the perfect temperature. Great purchase!
