Great Ice Maker That is Fast

I love this ice maker, as long as I put in distilled water, this model cranks out near crystal quality ice. To all the reviewers here complaining about having to break up the sheet of cubes, all I can say is "How lazy & spoiled are you people"! Its seriously not that big of a deal. For the price and being table top, this thing puts out a lot of ice.

Disappointed

Wasn’t what we expected so it was returned. The instruction booklet wasn’t well written & vague.

Awesome ice maker!

So far loving it. It's easy to use and looks nice. The viewing window is really neat and the ice comes out clear. You do have to break it apart but it's pretty easy. Perfect for our bar /gifted

Works well for me and make ice rather quickly.

NewAir NoWay

So my wife bought this for me while I was out on foot surgery. For the eight months it did run was great. When it crapped out on us began the fun part and part that had gone out was on back order. This also sounded like NewAir knew this was a problem and did not care that we’d have to wait . After a few weeks of my wife having to argue with said company RC Willey did step in and gave us a full refund. RC willey handed the situation very well but now the issues is most of what they offer is NewAir and if you want a different brand the machines are $500-up, we had paid close to $400 and felt that was expensive for a table top unit. Guess I’ll be stepping out of my comfort zone and going to order from somewhere else but making sure to read the reviews instead of going by what’s in our budget.

Amazing Ice Maker!!

I got this ice maker for summer and I couldn't be happier! First of all it looks so beautiful in our kitchen and the ice cubes are the perfect size. My kids love the fact you can see the whole process because of the ice viewing window. Now we are able to enjoy our drinks all day! Love this ice maker!!!

So far so good… After 25 or 30 batches of ice, I can tell you what works as advertised

Makes ice fast. Is very quiet. I no longer use my refrigerator ice maker because I love the small thinner cubes. I have learned the -6 setting is for me, and much clearer than the 0 default setting. I fill up the basket in my freezer from the old ice maker then bag up more. I use the filtered water from my refrigerator to refill gallon jugs. No problems at all.

Althouth the ice comes out in one small, rectangular piece it breaks up easily with most any kitchen utencil. Individual ice cubes are hard, solid squares with a thumbprint indentation like we see being used in many restaurants. It definitely keeps your drinks cold and melts slowly. Each cube is slightly smaller than 1” squared. After the ice is made I transfer it to another container where I break it up… then place the ice in a bag. I buy the extra large Hefty 2.5 gallon Ziplock Bags which are perfect and about equivalent to small bags of ice you get at the store. It takes me a few hours to fill one bag… which is about, 15 minutes per batch. The filled bags lay flat nicely in the freezer and i usually try to always have three bags on hand.

Very good ice maker, but noisy!

Easy to use, makes ice fast!

Really enjoy this ice maker. The ability to alter the thickness to speed up how fast it makes ice is a nice touch. It is easy to use and the ice really comes out quite clear. One thing to note is that the ice does seems to not break apart when it drops into the bin. Not big deal, just need something handy to break it apart before scooping it out.

Sheets of ice was not what I was looking for.

It makes ice but they come out in sheets. You have to break them apart with a hammer to fit into you drink. I am highly disappointed I paid this much money for something I hate.

Ice Maker has been working ok so far.

Not as good as specified

Terrible instructions included in this unit that does not perform as advertised. Ice cubes are created in sheets of ice that are not easily broken apart for use. Truly disappointed. This is my second ice maker from New Air and am not a satisfied customer with this unit.

Maybe I'm Doing Something Wrong?

I got the new product in the mail and it came with a tiny rust mark, nothing major but noticeable. Turned it on and while it's alittle confusing at first you get used to it fast. Let the water cycle made the ice and noticed it came through the metal unit in blocks. Did it 4 more times and noticed it's still comes in chunks. I have to chop the ice to get cubes.. maybe it's on my end but every time I've had to chop the ice that's kind of annoying... but overall is makes clear nice ice and I love that. Big flavor difference in the drink believe it or not.
