Nice heavy duty castors

Very heavy duty. Tightly locking braking system. Rubber composite wheels roll very smoothly unlike plastic wheel castors. I have these on five of my seven NEXEL wire shelves.

Great wheels with some difficulty installing...

Best Casters Ever - once you manage to install them! The posts have a welded seam inside which grossly interferes with installation of the casters which have a rod that must be hammered in with a rubber mallet. I had to hammer really hard about 10 times on each of the 4 posts of the first shelf unit. On the second unit, one caster got stuck part way so the mallet had to be used to remove it. A 1" tapered reamer was used in a cordless drill to reduce the size of the welded seam protrusion and this was repeated for all 4 posts. Then back to the mallet for installation. The large polyurethane wheels are however, the best match for the shelves to reduce rolling resistance, eliminate marring and with easy to apply brakes. I rated them 4 out of 5 stars just because the installation was crude.

These stem castors really stand up to punishment. They withstand many hours of sanitizing and high temperature cleaning without warping or losing their smooth roll. Well worth the purchase.
