[Rewarded Review] Adjustable Stream Spray Faucet Aerator

This bathroom faucet aerator installs very easily in under a minute. It’s set to go as a female installation but has an extra adapter so it can be done as a male install. Very easy to do and it also comes with an extra screwdriver type tool so the adapter can be fully tightened inside of the aerator. The adjuster switch easily goes from a .5 to 1.0 to 1.5 GPM flow. Plus the outgoing water stream is a wide spray pattern which I like.

Excellent item for all households

Nice product and brand. It does leak if not securely tighten on to faucet. I like the that it has 3 different type of flows. I can switch it to 0.5 when the kids are using and when I do dishes I change it to 1.5 to speed up the washing, then change it back. I do recommend this item to households that use the water several times a day, everyday.

I couldn’t get this installed without leaking - probably because of the plastic threads. Next time I will buy metal.

I purchased two of these aerators to use for a basement bathroom faucet that didn't have an aerator. Flow of the faucet before using an aerator was 1 liter per 4 seconds, which is pretty abysmal (~4 gallons per minute). I measured the flow per minute 3 times per setting to make sure I wasn't doing a mistake. I'm actually getting: 0.5 GPM flow setting: 0.85 GPM. 1.0 GPM flow setting: 1.2 GPM 1.5 GPM flow setting: ~1.55 GPM (close enough). I would have preferred a 0.5 GPM only option that actually achieved 0.5 GPM, than a cheap (threads seem low quality, may run into issues later on) 3-flow option aerator that only meets the flow rating on one setting. It's still a massive improvement over not having an aerator though.

Successfully installed all 4 pieces. Needs careful attention to the process, and patience in "gently" tightening to stop leaking but not too tight to crack it. Instructions are barely sufficient and difficult to read with light color print on its plastic bag; I would give it more demerits just for its packaging and instructions. too early to comment on its reliability and durability. Wish that they have bronze/gold plated version for our other faucets.

The Niagara Conservation caused to much splashing of water and caused too much water around sink. I will keep searching for a replacement kitchen sink nozzle until I find the right one for the kitchen sink.

I never knew that aerators are actually necessary and serve a purpose. The allow bad gasses in water to escape and add oxygen to improve taste. This one has an adjustable flow rate which is very convenient where the water pressure is very high. We live in an area where city water is pretty bad and it's nice to be able to remove the aerator and flush out the particles periodically.

I really liked the idea of this adjustable flow attachment, but I had trouble getting it to thread on my bathroom faucet. the original faucet is old and difficult to adapt to, but once I got it on, its nice. when fully opened up it really sprays nicely, gotta be careful in a small bathroom sink you can over flow the sink edge really easily. but on a lower setting, its nice. thanks

[Rewarded Review] We received the Niagara Conservation Trimax Dual Thread Adjustable flow rate PCA Spray faucet aer...

We received the Niagara Conservation Trimax Dual Thread Adjustable flow rate PCA Spray faucet aerator with a chrome outer ring packaged in a plastic bag (like a zippered sandwich bag) which was fine. I would rather save a dollar on the item price, than have it come in pretty packaging. Apparently due to its small size it came in a bubble insulated mailing 5x7 envelope and apparently was crushed during deliver as the chrome outer ring (which is plastic with chrome plating) was oval not round and had a crack, so I was unable to use that part of the aerator to make my faucet pretty after installing the aerator. I'm still giving 5 stars for quality as i feel that was completely a shipping problem. We have well water with some hard water scale and sediments; we do have a system in place which helps with that but it is still noticeable at key times of year. That in mind, I wondered if that would affect flow rate, pressure, and if the filter in the aerator would get clogged/scaled over (it has on others). The unit came with the instructions written on the bag, they were very easy to follow and we did have the faucet with the inside threads, so the plastic tool provided and instructions quickly told me what to do to convert it from outer thread ready (as it comes) to inside threads for installation. It took less than 1.5 minutes to unthread old, convert new, and screw on. We immediately noticed a difference in water flow with the first turn on. It has 3 flow settings: low medium high (I guess you could call them) and all work equally well. Therefore, it comes down to personal choice based on how much pressure you want to feel and the amount of water you wish to conserve. I tend to keep it right in the middle although I have had on low and highest flow rate settings; you change setting by turning the white part (see picture included) clockwise/counterclockwise. Due to my broken chrome outer ring, I cannot say if you need to remove that each time you want to adjust it or if it’s fully adjustable with the chrome ring on; but here nor there; it is still easy to adjust flow rate. For an accurate review we timed the different flow rates for our normal head vs the Trimax on its lowest and highest. We allowed 2 gallons of water to flow, times were: 40 seconds with our old head, 4 minutes 12 seconds on low, 1 minute 40 seconds on high, we did not time medium flow. So even on high, the water conservation is significant. We have been using for 2 ½ weeks now and are very pleased with the item. It has an amazing flow rate and consistent pressure on any of the 3 settings. The inner filter shows no signs of any problems based on the well water we run through it daily. I would recommend a better shipping method with the products current packaging, but would highly recommend the item and intend to continue using it. I would also purchase additional aerators for other faucets in our home.

I am impressed by the Trimax Dual tread adjustable flow rate PCA aerator. For those who do not know, Dual threaded means it fits both male and female threaded faucets. It's made by Niagara Conservation products which I used their products in the past. They give me the ability to conserve energy and water without lout sacrificing performance. it also offers wide, multi stream spray.

Works good. Hard to find a good needle spray for bath sink, this one good. Switches easily, compact. I had another with air intake accelerator, and it sprayed out the side. Comparable larger types for kitchen.

The Niagara Trimax Dual Thread Adjustable Flow Rate aerator is a better choice in aerators. Highly functional with three spray adjustments is easy to adjust and looks good. The spray which is a multi pattern of separate needle streams closely arraigned. The aerator makes good use of the conservative water restrictions. Providing an efficient spray to perform all your uses. Rinsing out wash cloths and your tooth brush is fast and through. This review covers two models which are identical in performance and have the same specifications. The only differences are one is all chrome (303430766) and comes with an adapter for the dual thread capability. The other aerator is chrome and black (303430776) and does not need an adapter to use a dual thread application.
