Great product and fun metal is a great color with my mix of light to dark grey flooring - bought 14 of these and took longer than expected for it to be shipped however - Home Depot kept staring out of stock when in cart stated there were more than 30 available - very confusing transaction experience

I had my floors replaced and needed to replace the floor vents. They arrived the day the floors were being installed- popped right into the space- looks great!!

Nice Replacement at a Great Price!!

Very nice upgrade for builder vents covers. Metal face w/ plastic sliding underbelly (that goes into the vent hole). I noticed NO difference in air flow w/ replacement as compared to the builder grade vent cover. Buying additional to replace other vents on the same floor.

Our wooden grate, which was on the floor, kept getting destroyed by chair legs. The steel plated grate is just what was needed.

Wow for the price what a pop it makes in my hardwood floor. So glad I found this option instead of the typical white registers that builders use. I also bought 2 in copper Can't wait to use those when the new hardwood floor is installed.

An Affordable Upgrade

I picked these over getting matching wood grates for my floors. Unlike wood, the airflow is adjustable and should anything happen to it, it can be replaced that day. I like the bit of design too.

Definite upgrade

Before ugly brown builder grade registers did not coordinate with dove grey carpet. Brushed nickel craftsman/asian style registers are a definite style upgrade.

Beautiful, quality finish - they look more expensive than they are!

The grates are very attractive. The tab to control airflow is very easy to move, which is convenient, but it also means it can be unintentionally bumped and changed. When I want minimal airflow there seems to be more sound than the prior covers, and when closed completely there is a significant sound.

Not happy with these floor grates. Look nice but damper box is cheap plastic and kept separating from the grate when I was placing them in the vents. Damper boxes really restrict air flow, and our second floor was uncomfortably warm at night after replacing our old these grates with these. At the other big box home improvement store that begins with an "L", we found nice grates with metal damper boxes that fully open with no air restriction. They were more expensive but we'll worth it These cheap grates are getting returned tomorrow.

Just installed. They look very nice on the new laminate floor. Took away one star because the mechanism & inner baffles are plastic, and the ventilation seems a bit restricted. Also, I doubt that with the plastic knob the grate will endure traffic the way the older all-metal one has done for years.

I ordered a couple of these vents to replace ones that were rusty, bent and trashed. I liked them so much, I bought four more. They're very attractive and strong enough to stand on. In my bedroom, the old vents blew cool air sideways instead of straight up and into the room. I'm very happy with them.

Easy upgrade

We replaced the plain white vents in our main living space. The geometric design matches well with our paned Windows and the design on our front door glass panel. Also, the silver tone is more subtle than the plain white vents that we had. For a very reasonable price, we were able to take this aspect of our home from builder level to custom design. We are very pleased.
