Beautiful
I bought 2 of these for our cabin. They are beautiful. Easy to assemble. My husband is tall and it fits him when reclining. You do sit a little high but with time I’m sure it will settle. I didn’t want anything with nail heads. I wanted a clean classic look that will stand up to changes in decorating. The only issue was 2 of the legs had chips in them. We just twisted them to the inside, no one will ever know. They look very sharp in our space.
Leather or vinyl??
Loved 2 fire red Nixon High Leg chairs since 4-14-18, now the 1 chairs arm, head and back rest "leather" is peeling. Looks terrible!!
Good quality
Chair came very well packaged in sturdy box. Recliner in 2 pieces which my husband and I were able to easily assemble. Leather appears to be good quality and matches well with couch and loveseat we already own. Mechanism is easy to operate. Gave it one less star bc back cushion is slightly uneven on the frame, about 3/4 inch higher on the right side. Not enough of an issue to go through hassle of returning.
Nice Recliners for Small Space
Ordered two of these chairs for a small space in my master bedroom. Love the look and feel of the chairs, particularly when in the reclined position. They're more firm than I would like, but I hope that will change over time (have only had them a week). Only downside for me is the seat isn't very deep. My fault for not checking that measurement (I checked everything else), but I do wish my rear went back further in the seat. For that reason, I don't find the chair very comfortable in the upright position.
Problem with so-called leather
The chair is good looking and quite comfortable. However, it arrived with two small tears on one arm. On inspection it seems that leather on the arms is nearly paper thin. I am now negotiating with Hayneedle.
Pleasantly Surprised
Very comfortable recliner. It has wonderful lumbar support. I think that it is well made sturdy. I will say that this recliner is on the firmer side which I like. You don't sink way down into the chair when sitting in it.
