Colour is off - but love it!

Love the bench, easy to build! The stock images do not do the colour justice - it's much darker in person. A dark walnut colour - not this light white oak as advertised. Otherwise, it's great!

These are great! I purchased four of them for large family get togethers and they are sturdy and look very nice with any tablecloth color.

Long bench thats versatile

I looked for benches all over the place and decided on this one because it was fairly affordable and I can use it for a dining bench when guests come or a tv stand every day. It fits my 50” tv very well. The actual color is darker than the photo but it’s actually what I was looking for so worked out great. The legs were a little hard to put together but after that it wasn’t bad.

DO NOT PURCHASE

Do not order this item if you’re expecting this shade of “wood”. This bench is way darker in person. To return the bench it cost about $** and some change. So if you are considering buying this please take this into consideration.

Not at all what it looks like in the picture. Really wanted it to match the table I bought but the material and color was not accurate.

Clean look!

I use this bench in a guest bathroom, very sturdy, easy assembly. Very clean lines.

The color is not what is shown. This is particle board with a dark brown, tacky vinyl coating. This bench is ugly and I'm extremely disappointed.

Not satisfied at all

This is A SCAM!!! The bench has nothing to do like the pictures. It is SUPER SUPER DARK!! And when you tried to return the package it cost *** Knowing the bench itself cost *** What a scam... unbelievable

Very sturdy bench

This bench is great! It is the exact length I needed to be. The only thing keeping it from being five stars is the photo shown is not the same color bench you get when it arrives. I, like several others reviewers we're hoping for a light to natural color bench, instead I got a very dark colored one.

I bought it to match my breakfast nook table. Unfortunately the actual color is much darker than the online photos. Otherwise it’s very easy to put together and feels sturdy.

want to return but impossible

Felt ripped off by this product. I wish the description stated that the material is a very heavy MDF with a veneer. If you are on the fence buying this, know that this is not solid wood and with wear and tear (it's a dining table/bench) the veneer will likely peel off and then you have to deal with disassembly and disposal of a heavy material. I want to return this but I live on the third floor and now I am stuck with it.

Color is not same as pictured

Didn’t come even close to the color pictured. Super disappointed, I contacted overstock regarding this. I am stuck paying over $** to send an item back that didn’t come as pictured. Buyer beware.

Entryway Bench

The bench is very long and fits my entrance perfectly. I had hoped it was a solid wood but it does have a veneer. That is the only reasonni am giving it 4 instead of 5 stars.

Almost Perfect

I purchased this due to the other reviews stating it was darker than the photos, that was perfect for me as I was looking for something closer to walnut. Opening the box I was a little disheartened at the color, as it wasn’t walnut, but rather a strange almost orangish tinted lightish brown. But everything else about it was exactly what I was looking for. I always have a can of General Finishes gel stain in Antique Walnut on hand, and I’m not wanting to invest too much time in this, I did absolutely no prepping of the wood, and just took a paper towel and wiped the gel stain on. It came out beautifully and exactly the color I was hoping for. Overall I am very happy with this bench, and only took about a 30 minutes and 24 hours dry time.

very disappointed

if you like the color of the bench, don't buy it. it does not look anything like the color in the photo because it is much much darker. very disappointed the photo is very misleading. should be marketed it in a more realistic way. the description doesn't even mention that the color is darker. will be returning to find something that is more in my color scheme.

Perfect length

Very happy with this purchase. Works great in my modern farmhouse home. It was a little darker in person than in pics but still like it. The length was perfect!

The color is darker than pictured

We wanted this bench to work for our house, but it’s a darker color than pictured. It looks like light wood, but it’s really a medium brown color. It’s probably a nice bench, but we had to return it because it didn’t match our existing furniture. Customer service was amazing helping us out!

Very solid bench that goes with the table nicely. We paid someone to assemble it, so i can’t comment on how difficult that was but they sees to do to quickly
