Sleek, sophisticated, simple salad bowl solution

This was a wedding gift for a kindred friend. I felt like a grown-up purchasing it, {I tend to bargain hunt for my bowls}. I forgot to enclose who sent the gift. Worried that it might not have arrived, text the bride, who, first laughed at my silliness for not including a sender's name, and then gushed she and her husband had already been using the bowl non-stop in the kitchen. The sleek, sophisticated and simple aesthetic spoke to me, as it complements my friend's sensibilities perfectly.

Perfect size for popcorn (and salad) yet fits inside my cabinets. Replaced a well loved bowl that was perfect for popcorn and salad but was a little too large in diameter to fit inside my cabinets without popping the door open a touch (and then I lost it as part of a divorce). This one is a tiny bit smaller in diameter but then a little taller so volume wise equivalent without the annoyance of not fitting in the cabinet…. Perfect (also well made and very pretty IRL)

I make biscuits the old fashioned way [nesting in a bowl of flour} and this bowl is perfect for that job!
