wouldn't recommend, disappointed

this rug states that it is machine washable and air dry. I put the area rug into the washer as instructed they came out with fuzz all over it. it look like a blonde dog hair had been shredded in my washer. when I was hanging them to dry, I noticed the entire tire fringe was pulled off one end. I guess the other rugs I will spot clean, even though I tried that and it left a big discoloration mark. I'm going to see if I can get a refund on this item

Washable Jute!

I was looking for a formal entry rug that was also very durable, and this is it! I have dogs and grandchildren and visits from friends and family, dirty shoes, dirty paws, you name it, these rugs can take it. They go in the washing machine and look new again every time. Very satisfied!

Perfect for my dyi stair runner

I purchased 3 of these and a 2x4 rug for my dyi stair runner. have 3 kite shaped stairs (winder) that are much wider than the others, so I needed to be able to put two pieces together to accommodate the width. This subtle pattern matches horizontal and perpendicular. This rug was easy to cut with a pair of Klein scissors I have. It will unravel if you aren’t careful. I bought seam tape and placed it along the line I planned to cut. So far, it’s all held together and I love the way it looks!

It tore!

I am so mad right now. This "washable" rug just tore during the first wash. I can't for the life of me figure our how. But it literally tore on the side and I had fiber hairs all over my washing machine. And of course I can't return it because what's there to return? A torn rag of a rug? Horrible quality.

Lovely casual rug. I needed a flat-woven rug. But this is so thin that it bunches up around furniture legs of the furniture set out on it. It’s lovely underfoot and just the right color. I’m quite pleased overall.

NOT a washable rug!!!!!

This rug was washed and literally fell apart! Fibers are everywhere. This appears to be a real jute rug. It is NOT washable. It should never be put in a washing machine! I Only bought this rug because it Is supposed to be washable. Unfortunately I feel like I have been scammed. Do yourself a favor and purchase from a reputable company that actually sells real washable rugs. I have many from other companies and I know what a washable rug should be and this is not it. I’m Waiting for a reply from Homestitch so I can get a refund and return this worthless rug.

NO NO NO!!! DO NOT BUY THIS “washable” Rug!!!

This is absolutely NOT a washable rug! The fibers shredded all over the place-all in the washer all over the rug and all over my house! This company is so deceptive with this rug that it is unbelievable! I have never been so upset about a purchase and feeling deceived like I am with this rug right now. It is not a faux jute!!! This appears to be real and should NEVER be put in a washing machine! I only purchased this because it was washable and now I feel like I’ve been scammed!!!!

I am very happy with this purchase for my kitchen, which I’ve had for about a month. I also bought a pad, and I think the rug does need the pad. The rug is very soft underfoot. It has a rosy undertone along with blue/gray. It unrolled flat right out of the package. The fringe shed at first, but that is lessening as it gets vacuumed.

Good Buy

Very nice rug at a minimal price. I have not washed it yet. The rug does have a small pattern to it. It looks a bit like the “H” logo of the luxury brand Hermes. It’s a consistent line of dark little “H”’s throughout. It’s a nice pattern, but it is not solid as it appeared to me.

They may call it a washable rug however it does not stand up in the wash

Can this go in the washer yes? Would I advise it ? NO! Once you put this in the washer, it does not lay correctly and it takes a while to dry. I thought it would be a great option because I have pets and washer friendly seemed like a good choice, It is not. This is the second time I have purchased a washable rug from Home Depot. I’ll need to find it isn’t really washable as in going in the washer .It was a waste of money plan on returning it.

non-skid???

I bought this rug for my entrance hall that has wood floors. It's advertised as non-slip, but mine wasn't nearly as non-slip as other rugs I've owned. Since hubby and I are Seniors, we have to be very careful of slipping, so I couldn't trust this rug, and I don't want to have to get a rubber underlay. If slippage wasn't a concern for me, I would have kept the rug.

Not well made

These are very pretty and very soft, but they are not nonslip, and they are not very durable as mine seem to be unraveling incoming apart after only about three weeks of use. I got two small ones to go in front of my doors and I was really thinking of getting the largest size but now I’m glad I didn’t. Because of the cheap price I’ll probably keep these until they start to look bad, probably in a few more weeks unfortunately and then throw them away.

Do not purchase if you have pets

I purchased this rug because I have little dogs. I wanted a jute style so I thought this rug would be great. I have multiple Ruggable washable rugs but they are all patterned and I wanted a neutral one. Well immediately my maltipoo had an accident. And not only did the pee stain not come out, it bleached the carpet and could not be cleaned. It was beyond cleaning as the carpet was faded and bleached out. I sent them pictures and tried to get a return/refund, but the company would not do so as their warranty specifically does not cover pet stains. This warranty is not explicitly shown on the walmart web page, rather they say you need to contact the seller before purchasing this rug to get it and then read it. Really? Just explicitly say it does not get rid of pet stains. Do not buy this rug if you ever plan on getting a stain on it. It does not wash out.

Beware - NOT Non-Slip

This is definitely NOT non-slip. Now I have to purchase a mat to go underneath it. I bought 2 of the 8ft runners and a 5ft runner and there is definitely no rubber gripping on the back side of either of these rugs. Slip and Slide! Be careful!

Looks good until you wash it.

Not really impressed with this rug. It is beautiful out of the package -- but it is definitely not a non-skip back. Also, my dog "blessed" the rug one night, forcing me to try out the washability of this rug. I followed all wash instructions carefully and the rug looks terrible now. I reached out to customer service about this and haven't heard back yet. Very disappointed.

My Nourison Washable Rug just arrived!! So Pleased.

I ordered the Nourison large jute washable rug from Target and it arrived today. I had a similar style that was Hemp and could not be cleaned or washed. The new Target rug will be great. I have a dog so there are spills that will be much easier to clean up. THANK YOU TARGET AND THANK YOU NOURISON!

Washable rug

I washed the rug due to a puppy accident and the petroleum smell is terrible. Also, it left a bunch of “whitish marks” on the rug. I used baking soda and vinegar in the washer, which is what I use for all my laundry, and I never have had this happen before.

chemical odor

I am completely let down over this rug. Never have I purchased an item that I cannot keep inside my house due to the overwhelming odor it gives off. we have tried all recommendations to help resolve the odor issues. nothing worked. It is giving off a chemical odor almost as pungent as gasoline. I am hoping Kohls will refund our money. I do not recommend this rug. I was looking forward to the stylish runner but we can not even have it in the house.

Pretty Rug

Just received this rug a week ago vacuum & mopped put it down. Today I was vacuuming & notice a film where the rug had moved.
