I ordered the white fabric chairs with black metal legs. Beautiful and easy to assemble.
Though I'm pretty handy with such things...
Though I'm pretty handy with such things, took hours to coax the two-part base into alignment with bolt holes of chair seat. Second identical chair: invested more hours and never did get all three tabs to align with bolt holes. Somewhat stylish design ruined by shoddy construction of the bases, which should easily line up but do not. Also visible weld-seams point to poor construction.
These were not quite what I was expecting, but they work well. And they arrived really fast!
