Love this rug!

The color variation and pattern of the various weaves make for a gorgeous natural rug option. The stripes are a bit more noticeable from some angles, but it’s beautiful all-around. It’s also thick and comfortable to walk on. This rug looks better than the picture - really love it.

Jute Rug for Foyer

I love my new Kalea Striped Textured Jute Rug! Love the textured stripes as they go perfectly wi the my hardwood floor. It is perfect for my foyer and will hold up to foot traffic including snowy boots from guests during our upcoming winter season.

Disappointed in the quality

Bought this 8 months ago and it is a completely different color than it originally was. It is now a yellow color rather than the ivory it first came as, and it does not get excessive sunlight throughout the day. I vacuum multiple times per week and it still sheds excessively as well. It’s not a horrible rug but for sure wouldn’t purchase this one again.

Handspun Jute Rug

I ordered two large area rugs. One arrived with bright pink staining (you could see it inside the clear packaging) before it was opened that I was not able to remove from the rug. I contacted Rugs USA, and they replaced the rug free of charge and picked up the flawed rug.

Itchy , dirty worst purchase ever

Upon opening the carpet some of it wasn’t sewn in, the carpet I received was extremely dusty and dirty , I have rolled it many times and every time I vaccum underneath there is black dirt. I like to keep my house super clean and free of dust but this carpet sheds a lot and not to mentioned the dirt it has. The shipping label cost too much to return and I had thrown away the packaging so now I’m stuck with this carpet I don’t like. Save your time the stress and don’t buy this one.

Picture perfect

This is the second rug I’ve purchased and this time wanted a natural fiber, neutral rug for my recently renovated kitchen/sitting area. This rug brings the room together and adds a natural feel. It is soft on your feet, easy to take care of, little shedding and compliments the overall warm tones of my kitchen. Ordering was easy and delivery was fast. Great catalogue of rugs and using the photo feature to visualize the rug in the room is effective. With a natural fiber rug it’s started the colors may vary. I didn’t have any disappointment with this rug.

I got the light beige color. It looks as expected (although the weaves are a little larger than I thought… but no problem.) The only thing I’m going to watch out for longer term is, with this natural color, there are darker tan and grey features. That makes me wonder if it’s going to make it looks dirty once it gets walked on, etc…. We’ll see. Still looks like a good rug, especially for the price.

Gorgeous Rug

Gorgeous rug. We purchased the 12 X 15 natural version for our main living room. It is exactly what I wanted. It has an organic look with varied colors throughout. It is extremely heavy to move when packaged and to lay out. We have the off white 9 X 12 as well and it is equally as stunning. They are soft and comfortable compared to other jute rugs that I have walked on that were more like outdoor mats. Gives the rooms a casual, yet upscale look. Looks expensive and classy to me.

Beautiful, but difficult!

This rug is thick and heavy and beautiful, but it sheds like crazy! I know this is common for natural fiber rugs, but I vacuum it at least once a day, and within a short period of time there are fibers shed all around the edges again. A rug pad is definitely needed, especially if placed on wood flooring or any other type of flooring where there could be damage from the rug - it's like sandpaper over time to floors! Also, while it was a beautiful consistent ivory color in the beginning, it now (less than 6 months later) has a lot of darker brown patches showing up throughout the rug. Not sure if it is some kind of glue that is collecting dirt or what, but I can't get the dark spots out. The spots are pretty uniform throughout the rug, so I don't necessarily mind them - they have actually kind of added a more natural vibe to it. But if you want a rug that stays strictly ivory, this isn't the one. For the cost of this rug and the maintenance of it, I probably wouldn't purchase again.

Measure carefully

Not what I expected. I'm a bit surprised by all the great reviews (which I diligently read before ordering). I purchased this rug in 2 sizes and the braiding is very, very large and gets even larger with the bigger the rug is, which I haven't encountered before. I found it clunky and too chunky to layer (or if you need a door to open over it, be sure to measure height first). Super expensive mistake on my part... shipping it back costs a fortune.

Not as great as expected

This rug has a lot of imperfections from the roll out. It has lots of irregular spots which is to be expected from a natural fiber. This is beyond that. The weave is not as strong as expected. There are random pieces sticking up everywhere within a week. I do not have children and live alone. I can’t cut the parts that have lifted because there would be an obvious difference in the pattern or a hole. There is also no way of shoving it back into the weave. I had high hopes for this one.

Perfect Jute Rug Will Exceed Your Every Expectation!!!

This rug is amazing quality. I thought I was replacing my 8 X 10 pattern rug with the same size, but I ordered the 9 X 12 rug and I'm so pleased that I did. Our room appears almost doubled in size and is the perfect tone on tone color - not just a solid boring jute rug. The weave is exceptional and it is the perfect weight and density. It is also very pleasing to walk on and my husband and I love it!!!

Beautiful Rug

I was very nervous about ordering a rug online however this rug is beautiful and very high quality. This is a jute rug and so I was unsure about using it in a high traffic area as these are typically not very soft however based on reviews from others who said it was in fact soft, I ordered for my main hallway. This rug is SO SOFT, especially for it to be a jute rug. I am very pleased with it and it is absolutely gorgeous. I only ordered the runner but will be ordering the 8x10 and 3x5 as soon as they are back in stock for my living room! The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because of the packaging. The way it was packaged, water was able to get into the plastic during the delivery process. The rug was packaged in simply one layer of plastic that apparently was not sealed up well. This could have potentially ruined this rug however I was able to get it dry before any apparent mold growth or smell developed. Other than that, overall satisfaction for quality, look, and feel I would've given it 5 stars!
