I have purchased this rug before and the quality isn't even close to what it used to be.

Design looks amazing but not durable does not last

I bought this carpet in 2020. I Love the look of it but after having it for over a year the material doea not remain soft or fluffly. It ls dingy even thought I keep clean and use a wet mop vac to clean it, does not look clean. The material is flat. I wish it was better material because the design is so nice. But if you are looking for for something that will last more than 1 year then this is not it.

2nd time around - a bit disappointed

This is the 2nd time I bought this exact rug (my dogs ruined the first one.) The quality of the 2nd rug is not as nice as the first one. The pile is not as plush and the fibers are not as soft and fluffy. I love the look of the rug and I noticed that the price, for the exact rug, same size was less this second time around. However, to find out that the price seemingly represents a reduced quality is disappointing.

Fabulous feel, Wrong color for us

I really love the feel of this rug, and i like the pattern, too. Unfortunately, the color (gray) was not quite right for our room; the rug was much lighter than I hoped, and it clashed with the wall paint. I would definitely recommend this rug based on feel alone -- it would have been lovely to step out of bed onto this rug first thing in the morning!

Perfect living room addition

Bought this rug for a bedroom, but realized it was too small. However, it is the perfect size for the living room instead!! It adds a soft, modern touch to the area and brighten up the space a great deal. I will definitely be ordering from RugsUSA again when we are in need of a good, high quality, durable rug.

Very Pretty Pattern, But Low Quality and Not Plush

The design itself is really beautiful in person but the rug appears so much more plush and high end in the pictures (which I know is common unfortunately). The rug pile isn't as high as I thought it would be and it seemed more wrinkled and creased than other large areas rugs I've purchased before. The edging is also a pale gray and the sparse pile doesn't cover it well so you have cheap gray edging that shows against the white and black rug. All in all the price I paid was pretty ridiculous for the actual quality. Returning the rug would be a hassle so I will live with it.

Rug discoloration/customer service

Beautiful rug and extremely soft. Unfortunately I knew right away after I laid it out that it wouldn’t work in my house due to high traffic and kids. Even if I had decided to commit to vacuuming the rug daily, it wouldn’t have resolved the issue of the fibers becoming discolored. I only had the rug out for 2 days and noticed that some areas started to look “dirty” but it was like they were turning from white to ivory. I read other reviews and saw that other people said the same thing, like the areas that received sunlight were the areas that were turning a darker shade. Customer service was understanding and helpful with the return process. They covered the return shipping fee ($76) so I was very thankful for that.

Do Not Buy!

Do Not Buy this rug!! This rug started staining the first day I had it and the stains will NOT come out. I literally walked on the rug and it grabbed the dirt from my feet and nothing will take it out. I am a very clean person. This rug was vacuumed daily from the day I got it. I've only had it a few weeks and it looks awful. I filed a warranty claim and they've denied my claim because they say it's from prolonged use/wear and tear. I'm absolutely furious about the level of service and the lack of assistance I've received regarding the problems with this rug.

WARNING: DO NOT PURCHASE

I don't typically write reviews (good or bad), but we are so disappointed with our purchase from Rugs USA. When we first received the rug it was beautifully white and so soft. After a months time, it has become extremely stained from the sun and looks as if we had it for years by how worn down the fibers quickly became. Once a soft white rug, turned ratty and discolored in less than 30 days. We adjusted our couch (pictured here) and could not believe our eyes. And yes, we tried shampooing the rug thinking we somehow dirtied the rug, but it is truly poor quality. I strongly urge you not to purchase this rug unless it is in a room with zero sunlight and foot traffic.

Marshmallow Color and Softness

This is the softest rug I’ve ever owned. Everyone who touches it falls in love immediately. My kids love it, but now they won’t leave the living room. One thing I didn’t know about vacuuming the rug is that the carpet/upholstery attachment should be used unless your vacuum adjusts for pile height. It’s truly white and it hasn’t been a problem so far. It has held up to a friends and family movie night involving 2 toddlers, 2 seven year olds, and 2 ten year olds. I would recommend for sure.

The smell is so strong.....

So far I've been lucky with not having any smelly rugs arrive. But this one has been AWFUL! We bought it to go under our bed -- our bed has legs and we let it sit out as we've done with the others however more than a month has gone by and the smell remains. We literally had to get it out of our bedroom because I could not longer take the fumes!

Omg it’s perfect

This rug is the best thing that ever happened to my life. Never mind my husband or my pets or my future children-- no. I love this rug. It’s white and elegant, it fits perfectly with my living room (as I’m sure it does for every other living room out there). The rug is shaggy and thick, it’s plush and soft, and I’ve only had it for two days but it hasn’t gotten dirty yet! It also doesn’t have threads sticking out or loose to pull. It’s exceeded my expectations for a cheap rug and I’m more than bewildered with it. V happy. Thank you, RugsUSA. Definitely will buy rugs from here again :heart:️

Doesn't stay looking nice for long

I'm really disappointed with this rug because I ordered it for our bedroom and while it looked beautiful for the first couple of months, it started looking scuffed and dirty very quickly even though we never walk on it with shoes on and it's not in the most high traffic area, as it's just under and around our bed. We've had it for only about 5 months and it's too late to return it now, but it looks pretty terrible, especially the corner where we walk on it the most. It's not the cheapest rug and I was told that cleaning it would not really fix the problem and bring it back to its original state. The only thing I can do now is flip it around and keep it for another few months until the clean corner gets scuffed up, too. I wish it at least lasted a bit longer for the amount of money I spent on it.

Very Cute and Soft but quality is terrible

I opened this rug and it was what was expected. White, super soft, cute style. By day 2 the color of the pattern started bleeding into the white. I called but they would not replace. By one week half of the rug had bled onto the white. I have had a wool shag rug before with my dog that lasted 6 years but finally decided to replace it with a bigger size, so we purchased this one. Big mistake. It literally holds dirt like I've never seen. We are not dirty people and take our shoes off but this rug looked grey after 2 months. My dog also go a couple muddy paw prints on the corner. I had to clean the spots about 12 times and they still would not come clean. We needed to move it for the Christmas tree and when we did, we couldn't believe how bad it looked compared to the part that had been covered by part of our couch. There were brown marks where the wood feet of my couch sat and the where the coffee table sat. It looks like the feet bled into the pile of the rug. It is like the rug absorbs color from whatever sits on it or by it. Also, the rug fibers that started off soft and fluffy looked mangled after 4 short months. I have purchased numerous rugs from this site (as I am a interior designer) and I have never seen such terrible quality. I might have got a bad one, but still I do not recommend to anyone for a mid-high traffic area. I don't want to sound negative b/c I have never had any other bad experience, but really take this review into consideration if you want this style of rug. Pick another type of rug pile. Style is 5 stars. Quality is Zero.

So Far, So Good

I hedged over this purchase. I was replacing the rug that we previously had in our master bedroom. Our old rug was soft and pretty, but you couldn't really vacuum it without it getting sucked up into the vacuum and it had long braided tassels that were always collecting dust bunnies. This rug is definitely a truer white than our old rug, but it really works in the space. It is easy to vacuum which is a huge plus. It is very soft as other reviews mention. I didn't purchase a pad but if I were to do it over, I might have. It's plenty soft without it, but because my baby and I lie on it a lot, I think the pad could have made it just a tiny bit more extravagant. Also, people have asked about the color of the lines. They are a mix of both black and gray yarn, so part of the line is just made of gray yarn, and then there might be a mix and then it will just consist of black for awhile. I'm not seeing any navy at all. One other review I remember reading said that this rug didn't do well in heavy traffic areas. We don't wear shoes in our bedroom, but if we did I could see this possibly being a problem. The rug is very white and it is not made of a thick, course fiber. A wool rug might be a better bet for a high foot traffic area.

DO IT.

Quality: Had concerns but the rug is SO soft. The reason I went with a NuLoom brand rug too was because I've seen them at Target and have been impressed with the quality. I felt safe purchasing something I had already seen and touched, and the rug ended up being nicer than anything I've seen at Target. It does have a factory/carpet/chemical smell to it, but after a couple days of keeping the room aerated, it was gone. Also, the pattern on the rug was just as pictured, a sort of ombre grey lines which is very pretty in person.

Good value for money

I must start by saying that I have gone through countless number of sites and seen tons of area rugs during the quest to find the perfect one to suit my needs. You will find the similar (or the same) rug on other sites, but Home Depot had the best price! Now moving on... Needless to say that being 9' X12', it was a really "big" pain to drag the monstrosity into my home after it was delivered outside. However it looked great! Super stylish! The colors are exactly the same as seen in the picture and the rug feels really soft on the feet. There is some shedding but extremely minimal (I probably found 4 strands in 3 weeks , that too I think I forced them out :/ ) If I had one tiny complaint (OK make that two!), it would be that even though the carpet feels soft and plush, I think the weaving isn't so tightly packed; because while walking on it (if I push my toes in hard), i can feel the ground. Nothing that a good rug pad cant solve I'm sure. The other complaint would be that it has a very strong chemical smell that takes at least a couple of weeks to go away (with good ventilation). Still have a slight trace of that lingering smell which I am sure will disappear soon too. So since its not permanent , I would over all say it was a great deal for the price and would definitely recommend to others :)
