Floral blue rug

The rug is not as navy as it appeared online. It is thin and I should have gotten a thicker pad, overall it looks very nice in the room. This company is spot on! I called customer service on Saturday and actually talked to a person, which is great! I have bought several rugs from them. Thanks

Color is light grey and dark grey, not Ivory

The overall pattern and softness of the rug are good. However, the description and reviews made me think there would be Ivory and Green ( I ordered the one labeled Ivory). Instead it is very clearly light grey with a darker grey pattern. It is large and only came wrapped in plastic so I'm not sure how I would even return it - it can't fit in my car and I don't have a box. Since it was on sale and overall is soft I am going to try to use it in a room where grey will be ok but overall I'm disappointed there is no Ivory and I still don't have a rug for the living room.

Completely disappointed

I’ve purchased from Rig USA in the past and received excellent quality rugs. The quality of this rug is lacking and absolutely horrible. It’s hard, cheap looking and the color is completely different than what the website said. The reviews made this rug appear to be well made but unfortunately it’s not. I’m extremely disappointed.

Complements Family Room Nicely

Very nice rug. Minimal dents and creases. Laid rug face down for two days to help flatten out, and have only a few remaining small wrinkles. Colors are muted, which I like, however, in picture shows colors as being brown and burnt orange. Actual color is more taupe and peach. Still very pretty, but not what I expected. Will keep, because it looks nice in the room.

Very thin

Bought this in January, it arrived promptly. However, as soon as I opened it, I noticed it was very, very thin. I thought it would be ok since I did buy a rug pad to go underneath it. However, even with the rug pad, which I also bought from Rugs USA, it was not comfortable! The rug pad itself was thin, the rug was thin. Come 2 months later, we had an accident and we cleaned using our portable rug cleaner, the rug rippled!!! Now, it’s ripply and thin! Worst purchase ever.

Beautiful rug but hard to remove wrinkles

Love the rug, 9’ X 12’, came rolled and well packaged. However it can not get the wrinkles out. I tried rolling it backwards, the opposite direction for 2 days. Tried putting furniture on it, other objects, like a long bench upside down. Still 2 weeks and wrinkles won’t disappear. Otherwise I would give it a 5.

Inaccurate Depiction

This rug is horrible quality. We bought a rug made of the same material and of the same thickness several years ago from Rugs USA and loved it, so we decided to buy again. However, this time the rug was paper thin and rough. I don't even want to sit on it in my living room. The quality of rugs has obviously gone completely downhill. And to make matters even more frustrating--the photos on the website are incredibly misleading. The photos displayed look like exactly like the consistency of the rug I bought several years ago, which was much more smooth and plush to the touch. The rug that was just delivered on the other hand was very stringy looking. I feel duped. Frustrated I spent money on a product that was not properly advertised.

Super disappointed

I would not recommend. The rug arrived pretty fast but the quality was not what I was expecting at all. It felt really cheap to me and on top of that I could not get it to flatten out. It seemed a little misshapen and a wave throughout it that wouldn't allow it to lay flat. I followed the instructions but after 3 weeks of it laying out I decided I'd had enough and rolled it back up to ship back. I also bought a rug pad to help give it some cushion and keep it in place but it did nothing. The rug pad stayed put but the rug still slid all over and the "cushion" did very little to make it feel better under foot. In addition to all of that I found the return policy to be misleading. After reading the policy I was under the impression that they would simply send a return slip and cost of shipping would be covered but instead I was charged to send each item back separately and it cost me just under 1/3 of what I originally paid for the items which is ridiculous. I won't be shopping at Rugs USA again. I'm highly disappointed with my experience.

Terribly quality.

We purchased these rugs years ago for our entire home. The originals were gorgeous, thick, and looked beautiful for an incredible amount of time despite our dogs and kids. We just reordered runners due to accidents from an elderly dog, and these new ones feel like cheap knockoffs. They are shiny plastic, super thin, and have a pile that is separated by such a distance that they look ridiculous. The print is pixilated — like someone took a picture of the old ones, blew it up, then printed it on this new, cheap rug. They were crinkled horribly from being rolled, and after two days I tried to use a a blow dryer to help them settle as recommended. Despite being held 10-12 inches above the rug, it MELTED! This is a dryer I use on my and my 5 year old’s hair at a much closer distance; it clearly isn’t that hot. So, so disappointed. We were ready to repurchase a whole new set, but won’t waste our money. Would give 0 stars if possible.

Beautiful rug but poor quality at larger sizes

I'll start by saying I love the design of this rug. It's a very pretty blue gray and looks quite nice in person. The reason I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 5 is the quality of this rug leaves much to desire in the 8x10 size.

"Ivory" is more a pale pink

All of the area rugs I have purchased before this one came from a much more expensive chain home furnishing store. Those rugs were much thicker, plush and comfortable underfoot and in perfect condition for display the day of delivery. Now that we are within just a few years of downsizing, I didn't want to invest in a very large and expensive rug that I would likely not use in our next home. I did not expect the same quality given the price, but was OK with that. This rug is definitely thin and the higher-priced pad that was advertised as adding cushion does not. It does have a very spikey surface on one side that will clearly keep the rug in place on the pad. The pad is meant to be cut to size and is a bit larger than this rug, but I'm having a hard time finding a cutting tool I can use that is both safe (for me AND the floor) and sturdy enough given the size and texture of the pad. The rug has been unfolded and on the pad for a week and still has a grid of very significant fold lumps and lines. Most of the rug will be under a bed but, if that were not the case, this would have been a problem. Shipping the rug folded in half and then rolled would have helped reduce the folds. So this is a case of "you get what you pay for," but acceptable for the space (a seldom-used guest suite). My only other concern is the color descriptions. There is a big difference between a blushy pink and ivory. How "off" are other color descriptions?

Ivory is very cool tone

This rug is very pretty. The design is nice and not overpowering on the ivory color choice. Color is gray almost bluish hue with an off white. However, if you have cream, beige, anything painted Annie Sloan off white, or mostly warm tones in room this rug will clash.

Not worth it, even with sale

The look of the rug is nice (patterns and colors) however you 100% get what you pay for, here’s why I DO NOT RECOMMEND:

Don't buy the current version!

I had purchased this rug about two years ago and was in love with it! It was amazing! Fast forward two kids and a large dog, we decided to purchase another one instead of trying to send it off to get cleaned. As soon as it came, it looked thinner (the original was about 3/4" current one is less than 1/2"). I called they told me it was a new manufacturer but the same quality, so I decided to keep it. That was a mistake! We have had it for four months, and it has never entirely flattened, the fibers feel plastic, not soft like the other one, the corners are already starting to fray. I never write reviews, I have meant to write this one because I'm so bummed. I wish I kept the old one, and today was my last straw. As I was spot cleaning, I look down the whole edge has curled up just from a little cleaning spray. The reviews for the old version are correct, but the current version is not even close to the same!!!

Beautiful rug but beware actual size

The rug is beautiful and pretty true to the image. The background color is ivory and the gray has shades of light gray and light blue in it. It feels nice and has been easy to vacuum. It arrived folded, so there are still some creases that need to be flattened out (it's been almost 2 weeks). The reason I took off one star is because it isn't a true 9x12. It measures 8'10" x 11'10". I also ordered the premium rug pad and I am not impressed with it. That did measure a true 9x12, so I had to trim two edges so it wouldn't stick out past the actual rug. I also wasn't impressed with the pad's thickness. It's very thin and not what I would call "premium."

Love This Rug!

I was going for a neutral and light look, so I was nervous that the grey in the rug might be too dark and bold, but it’s actually muted and blends way better than I’d expected! I love how the rug colors lend themselves to hiding dirt, while also giving you an overall light look. It came with the normal wrinkles most polypropylene rugs have when they first arrive, but one thing that’s helped with this rug and others like it is to use a hand steamer (we have one that we’ve used in the past to get wrinkles out of my husband’s nice work shirts) and vacuum and then put some books over the remaining wrinkled spots. In a few weeks time, it all flattened out with those efforts and looks great! I also feel like the rug somehow got softer the more it was walked on, too, but that could just be my imagination. :) All that to be said, this is a great rug for anyone wanting a light rug that hides dirt and doesn’t shed — super practical, but also stylish!

I was hoping to be a lucky one....but that just wasn't in the cards for me

This is the same pattern 8x10' rug I ordered for my bedroom, however when I received the 8' round rug in the same design, it was much different looking. This one appears to have some discoloration unlike my bedroom rug. It is like it got wet in the muddy rain and dried with a yellow cast to only a portion of the rug. The rug and pad that the site sent to me both said 8' but they clearly are not the same size. I will now have to get on the floor once my new rug shears arrive to try to cut through the pad to fit the rug. This rug is not even worth the $128 I paid for it b/c I am not loving the look of this rug vs. my rectangular version of the same rug. Such a shame quality isn't the same from rug to rug. I have two more rugs coming of different patterns, and am hoping these are better and of higher quality.

Beautiful

The quality is great. This rug has the most perfect fading, a nice ivory/cream color with a bluish grey mixed in. My walls and furniture in this room are all bright white. So you can really see the real colors of the rug. It’s just soft enough and comfortable. Not silky soft though, but the price reflects that. It’s comfortable under foot or to lay on. It had a slight smell that went away within days of unrolling it. The ends were rolled up so I just rolled them under and it straightened out very easily. No shedding whatsoever. We have recently vacuumed it using no bristles, just suction and the rug looks perfect. Absolutely would buy again.
