Beautiful Chandelier

Love this chandelier. Only thing I don’t understand is why the manufacturer would make this with a black electrical cord. Lucky I have someone who can switch it out with a cream color one. Other than that I love it.

The light fixture is elegant and easy to assembly. The issue, the fixture was delivered in a plain, brown box without regular packaging and instructions. The wiring is unmarked and without color. We played wire-roulette for 45 minutes trying to get it to work. We finally gave up and called an electrician. This was definitely not the typical Home Depot experience we are used to.

This chandelier is very beautiful and stylish but I agree with other reviews about the instructions. It's basically a picture and you have to try to figure everything out from that. It was worth the effort though and fortunately not hard to assemble.

Beautiful BUT...

Chandelier is absolutely beautiful BUT ..... it was a hassle to install. 1. Tried to hang it with my son-n-law with both of us having zero skills. First mistake. We hung it but the fixture with the light/lightbulbs would not stay centered and leaned against the wood. 2. Had my father (an electrician and jack of all trades and master of all) help me re-install. We had to take the chandelier completely down and start over using the worthless piece of paper called instructions. We had to tighten the metal fixture to prevent it from moving as indicated above. Rehung without connecting wires then re-attached the outer wood pieces - top and bottom. Connected the wires. Fought with the top piece -finial and nut- and FINALLY after two hours - it is hanging and working. Based on my and snl experience and then my dad to save the day; I am hesitant to provide a good recommendation. So..... hire a professional! Good luck!

Beautifully Done

Fits in very well in over my kitchen table - just the right size. The distressed spots are not overdone but enough to give it that "farmhouse" flavor. Reading some of the reviews, it looks like some had some problems assembling the fixture. My husband didn't seem to have a problem but it took a couple of hours to assembl and hook up to the electricity.

Chandler looks good. Assemble was a pain with no real instructions. Wiring was long and wires were labeled with sticker and not your traditional white and black wires. So lot more work to keep the wires Distinguished before cutting to length
