Nice Fan Some Challenges

Fan is up and running. Very quiet, definitely moves air.

Wanted to up grade the ceiling fan. So many choices but I settled in on this one due to the sleek design and remote control. Just remodeled my bedroom and was looking for a fan that would be beautiful and work well to circulate air making the bedroom more comfortable. Beauty and function.

Its been about 8 months since it has been installed, and one of the blades warped about 3 inches, so the whole thing wobbles now. Very disappointed.

Gorgeous ceiling, fan! Excellent quality, contemporary and elegant without looking overly masculine. I purchased this in the white and gold, and it was a huge hit!

The pictured downrod is all that is included, and you can't separately purchase the manufacturer's six ft downrod. It is out of stock and other downrods are not compatible. Back it went via return.

This fan is beautiful! This is a Monte Carlo Maverick 70” fan being sold under the Birch Lane name. All packaging comes labelled MC Maverick which is a high end fan and will cost upward to 1000! Moves air well, quiet and stylish. Love this fan!

It is a nice looking fan but it has a tiny down road recover that can only accept a flimsy low grade stew downrod. It should not be used for high ceilings. The downrod they stated as compatible was too big and no stores had a downrod that would fit. No downrod at any big box store fit either.

[Rewarded Review] So much breeze!

Looks great, incredibly quiet, and doesn't wobble in the slightest even at the highest speed. We really liked the wood color as it matched our cabinets and floors. The fan comes with a 6-speed remote control with a wall-mounted holder. Even on speed #1, this fan moves a lot of air very quietly. There is no "hum" from the motor and no real noise from the blades. Overall, we're really happy with this fan. It was twice the price of those we usually buy, but was well worth it. Everybody who has come into our house (young and old) has been impressed by the look of these stylish fans.

[Rewarded Review] Nice looking fan

I have found that the 3 blade propeller style fans are the quietest, run the most smoothly, and provide greater air movement that traditional ceiling fans. This one is quite large, and looks very nice and streamlined when assembled. While it has the look of weathered wood, it is made of some kind of composite material that is a bit soft and light weight. Assembly of this fan was a bit of a challenge, as I quickly figured out that the instructions included were for a different style fan. Luckily, its a pretty simple design, and I quickly figured out where the parts and screws go. A parts list would have been a great help. The thing I do like about this one is that all assembly can be done on the ground, and only the wiring need be done in the air. Wiring is a bit tight with the large remote receiver, but I did find that it fit nicely in the mounting bracket under the shroud. The remote is simple to use, and has a nice mounting bracket with a magnet built in to keep it in place. Once the installation issues were resolved, this is a very nice fan and moves a lot of air! Perfect for a covered porch in the summertime!

[Rewarded Review] Attractive and well designed ceiling fan

The blades are an attractive gray wood grain finish. They are extremely light, which will allow the fan to remain in balance. The fan blades attach directly to the fan motor, in effect hiding the motor from below. The blades are attached on the top of the motor, with a full circle support to keep all the blades in place. The control box is inserted into the included ceiling bracket. I like that the antenna doesn’t have to be exposed for the remote to work.

Great Fan

This is a great fan! Yes, it might be a little more expensive than other fans but you get what you pay for. Very easy install, well packaged, no parts missing and required very little balancing. We couldn't be happier, a fantastic addition to our great room.

Beautiful and Fits a Large Room Very Well

So happy we purchased this lovely fan. Very sleek and the size 70” is perfect for a large open room. Worth every penny. I will say keep in mind that the “gold” look is a little more brushed brass like in appearance. We have modern gold accents throughout the room and it goes well with them.

We remodeled our kitchen, dining room, and living room. The Monte Carlo Maverick 60 in. Indoor/Outdoor Brushed Steel Ceiling Fan with Dark Walnut Blades with Remote Control is in the living room. We love the appearance and function. It is quiet and well balanced. It compliments the new Carolina Pine flooring and the white nickel gap shiplap ceiling.

We have a high vault ceiling in our living room so had an electrician do the install with a 3 foot down (we purchased the 60 inch version). He had it up and running within about 35-45 minutes. It had a considerable wobble to it, but I was able to use the included 5 gram weights to completely eliminate the wobble by trial and error (ended up using 3 x 5 gram weights on one of the arms, two positioned at the outer edge and one closer to the center). It is an extremely quiet fan, even at the highest setting and flows plenty of air. We also really like the style and looks of it (aged pewter). Time will tell how reliable it will be, but we're pleased with it's performance and looks.

I purchased three of these Maverick fans for my back porch. I installed them myself and it was pretty easy. They are beautiful fans and perfectly balanced. Unfortunately, when I stand directly underneath, and the fan is on high speed. I feel nothing. No air movement at all. Very disappointed.

I had this professionally installed in our vacation home for $90 by Lenhart electric (one of the companies Home Depot has a relation with) which was worth every penny, as I did not have the balance issues that a few people described. The fan is beautiful, silent and moves air better than any home fan I've seen. As a bonus, Monarch has outstanding customer support. I have a sloped, but not high ceiling and was not sure if I could get away with an 18" down rod, or if I would need a 12". So, I ordered both. I possibly made a mistake when ordering and the 12" was sent to my billing address. Everything else came to the vacation house. Home Depot was unable to get a replacement 12" rod here before my installation date or my scheduled departure date. I called Monarch customer support and they overnighted me a rod at no charge. Outstanding.

I am so in love with the style of this fan, it's a shame to use it because you can't see it when it's in motion! It has such a beautiful, modern look without trying too hard. The functionality is similarly great. I has a quiet motor, and a strong airflow output, which is important to me. I also love the multiple settings, as I often have complained that my other fans (with only 3 settings) go from nothing to nothing to tornado. This allows me to customize exactly where I want the flow to be.
