The chair really looks nice. The only issue was some of the screw holes would not line up with the metal inserts and we had to drill new holes. The picture makes the chair look like it has a shiny finish where in truth it is more of a matte finish. Also, one of the legs cracked when trying to attach it. It was cosmetic and we were able to repair.

Very nice study chair.

I am not mechanically inclined. Took me 50 minutes to put the legs on the chair. Tried for 1 hour & 30 minutes to get back support in place with no luck. My neighbor who is a large man came over to help me. Took another 20 minutes to push the back support down to finally align the 2 holes for the back support. Other than the amount of time to put together, I consider it a very good purchase.

This was a surprise gift for my father-in-law and he loves it. It fits him better than the chair he previously owned and he likes that it heavy so it isn't easy to move. The only negative I have is that I did not get a notice about when it was going to be delivered and no one knocked or rang his bell when it was delivered.

Great chair!

Gorgeous chair! Looks just as luxurious as the pic. Yes, firm and I love it.. just what I needed for my back. Only con is the screws to attach the back will not tighten completely... which is a little annoying. Minimal movement results. Overall an excellent piece of furniture.

Worth it

We had to do more assembly than we thought,(it arrived in a square box, needed to put the legs on it AND the back. We love it though and it looks lovely in our living room.

my chair was cancelled because They put a low price on it and then cancelled my purchase because of it.

Been looking at this style of chair for a while now and when I found one I could afford I was ecstatic only to have it cancelled after I had already paid for it. I was shocked that it would be allowed since the posting was their post and I had paid for it. But they were allowed to cancel the sale anyway. Of course it took a while for the refund to be credited back to my account. I would avoid them if I were you.

Fit for a queen?

Appearance-wise the chair is stunning and the fake leather is very convincing. It has a comfortable seat that is supportive and just the right degree of firmness. Assembly was initially a problem because the wrong bolts were sent for the back legs, no washers, and worst of all the holes were not properly aligned to position the bolts. I was also aghast to see the California proposition label warning of possible carcinogens in the chair materials! I wasn't overly concerned by this, but annoyed. Rather than sending the whole thing back, I took the chair to a woodworker who reamed the holes to align and provided the proper hardware. After contacting houzz of these problems and my added expense, they graciously credited me back my repair cost. Thank you houzz for standing by the products you represent and I do love the chair now.

I'm still trying to put them together. Some of the holes don't line up correctly making it hard if not impossible to screw together.

Wing Back Chair

I had to say a few words regarding the quality and precision of these chairs, Very well packed, very easy to understand directions, Precise Pilot holes for bolts, 2 different Allen type wrenches (supplied) All Bolts with and without washers are perfectly packaged, and numbered to the corresponding parts list/ directions and Warranty information. By the way, the warranty is for 15 years, Wow! You don't see that very often... To summarize; I could not be more happy with my purchase and these chairs. I really enjoyed assembling them. I really took my time putting these together and had my surroundings just so, And it took 45 to assemble each one. I highly recommend these to anyone of average height and weight. Thanks Walmart

Small but lovely

I'm loving this chair. I'll be honest with you, it is definitely not the most comfortable thing I've ever sat on. In fact, I'd even go so far as to say that it's a little on the uncomfortable side. However, I bought it to use as a writing chair, so I've found that it's the perfect level of stiffness to keep me working. Any comfier and I might find myself drifting off. It's also much smaller than I expected. I'm an average sized woman, so I'd expect it would probably be a bit too small for someone larger to sit in for a long period of time. But in my case this is probably a good thing, as it's not taking up too much space in my studio apartment. All that being said, I'm super happy with the purchase. It looks and feels like a much more expensive chair than it is. The color is a deep, purply red which I love. It just feels like a very high quality product and I'm glad I bought it.
